Olympics Closing Ceremony

This year’s Olympics has been a whirlwind of fun that is sadly coming to an end this Sunday. After much frantic excitement, loud cheers rooting for our favorite athletes and teams, we’re looking forward to Sunday’s A Symphony Of British Music closing ceremony concert. A gaggle of UK artists will serenade the 10,000 athletes that competed in this year’s Olympics in a televised concert. Rumored artists aside, and there are plenty, we know for sure the Spice Girls will reunite to take us back to the good ‘ol days of “Wannabe,” and we couldn’t be more ecstatic.

Obviously Spice Girls top our list for performances we’re most excited about. But we can’t wait to see what other great UK artists have been cooking up for the symphony-esque show. Per Idolator, Pet Shop Boys, Jessie J, Muse, Russell Brand, One Direction, George Michael and more are confirmed for the grand closing ceremony. Based on rehearsal photos it looks like these acts want to give a new meaning to “putting on a show.” From Jessie J standing in the back of a convertible to the Spice Girls possibly standing on top of a taxi while singing, all of this makes us very, very giddy.
