Rihanna is preparing to set her seventh studio album to sail this November, and this morning she treated her #Navy to a sneak peek at the album’s cover and title. The album, out November 19th, will be called called Unapologetic and the cover goes ahead and bares all. Certainly we know that the Queen of No F***s Given is unapologetic, she’s never been one to say “sorry” for her habits or hobbies as bad as they may sometimes be. But she’s never been one to go into great detail about her personal life in her music either. Will this be the album that Rihanna spills all the “Diamonds” and tells all?
The cover shows the Bajan babe topless with her new tattoo in full-show, and is graffitied with with the following words:
Most of these words are pretty easily explained — Roc being her Roc-A-Fella Records, 7 and #R7 for her 7th album, diamonds like the first single, unapologetic like she wont be and censored like she won’t be — but it’s not clear if these are song titles or if they are the side effects that inspired the album. Tweets from last night and earlier this morning made it sound like the album might be called Side Effects, and we liked the sounds of an album that highlighted the things that make Rihanna tick. Surely an album called Unapologetic will carry some weight, and we love that #phuckyoapologies attitude of her, but an album about the Chris Brown drama might be a bummer. She shines so much brighter than that. Guess we’ll just have to find out!
Do you like the albums title and cover? What do you think all those words mean?
