Nicki Minaj Remains Silent On Grammy Nomination Snub, But Her Manager Thinks It’s “Bulls—-”

by

Nicki is somewhere giving the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences a major side-eye like the one in the above photo. A day after Justin Bieber‘s manager, Scooter Braun, used his Twitter page to rant about Bieber deserving a Grammy nomination, Manaj’s manager, Cortez Bryant, caught on to the trend. And Bryant isn’t happy with his artist’s non-inclusion. It was all positive at first. “Congrats to @LilTunechi and @Drake and @Hit_Boy on their Grammy Noms butttt……” With that many t’s in ‘but’ the next tweet was bound to go awry. “They was on some bullsh*t for not nominating @NICKIMINAJ.” Oh, really?

Twitter rants by artists’ managers gives us flashbacks to Kanye‘s whole, “I’m really happy for you, and I’mma let you finish but…” VMA interruption speech. At least Nicki doesn’t have to address this since her manager expressed what we assume she’s thinking. If she’d said the same exact thing negative publicity would swarm around her head. Add that to the already existing headlines of her beef with Hot 97s program director, her nasty attitude on the Breakfast Club, the American Idol drama and her re-release album not charting, bad publicity is the last thing she needs right now. Good idea for the Barb to stay quiet on this one.
