Britney Spears Leads Forbes’ Highest Paid Women In Music List

by

“All you [chicks] is my sons,” is what Britney Spears is somewhere rapping in a mirror after topping Forbes‘ top earning women in music list. Britney indeed made a comeback–a $58 million dollar one. The bulk of the pop singer’s $58 million earning can be attributed to her latest album, Femme Fatale, and its tour. Her fortune increased with endorsements and her fragrance line with Elizabeth Arden. After a rough patch of misfortunes it’s good to see Brit back on top.

Taylor Swift, who earned $57 million, came in a close second. America’s favorite young country-pop star raked $1 million a night while touring. If we didn’t like Taylor we’d be boiling with jealousy because honestly, is it ever a great feeling to know people actually make $1 million in a night? Nope. Respectively, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry round out the top five list holding down the third, fourth and fifth positions.  We think a “pour it up, pour it up” session is in order. For all these ladies, “All I see is signs, all I see is dollar signs” couldn’t be more appropriate.
