Was Lil Wayne Throwing ‘Bows Backstage At The Cali Christmas Show?

by

There’s no proof to the alleged rumor, but Lil Wayne may have been involved in a scuffle in L.A. backstage at Power 106′s Cali Christmas Show. Excuse us for being unable to imagine skateboarding Weezy throwing any blows in a scuffle. According to reports from The Boombox and Hip Hip Wired, the New Orleans rapper hit the stage to support newcomer Kendrick Lamar. Before hitting the stage an unexpected fight broke out between Wayne and unidentified individuals. Wait, in the age of iPhone there was a huge brawl backstage of a concert and there’s no proof? Something smells fishy.

A witness told Hollywoodscoop.com (in a post that is no longer on the site), “Punches were thrown but no arrests were made,” said the witness. “It was a serious fight and was witnessed by everyone who was backstage.” Let’s get this straight: The authorities weren’t called. No one knows who else was in the fight except Wayne. Neither his rep or the radio station has released a statement. Like President Obama told candidate Romney during a debate, “Get the transcripts.” In other words, we need to see some receipts.
