The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City has absolutely nothing to do with the governor just in case you were wondering. And while the three day event of diverse acts is five months away, an official lineup announcement video dropped naming two of the three headliners. Kanye West and Kings of Leon are headlining the festival along with a mystery act that hasn’t been disclosed yet. A month before Kanye’s second-coming baby is born he’ll hit the stage at Randall’s Island.
Early tickets go on sale for a whopping $190, which will eventually increase to $205 and finally $220. If you’re wondering why on earth you’d pay $190 for a ticket think of it this way: You’re seeing a bazillion acts in concert all in one swap for three days. Along with the headliners we’re most excited about Nas, You Oughta Know graduates The Lumineers, Icona Pop, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel and Holy Ghost!. Check out the video of the lineup below.
