Does Kanye West Really Not ‘F—’ With “Suit And Tie?”: The Best Quotes From His Latest Rant

by

A Kanye rant must be included in the ticket price for one of his live shows. London concertgoers were in for a 11 minute treat when Kanye ranted–over a beat of course–about corporations, sponsorships, the Grammys, the infamous Taylor Swift incident and not fooling with Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z‘s “Suit and Tie.” Guarantee Jay blew Ye’s phone up when he got word that his little brother was being an emo artist on stage, once again.

Who knows what inspired Ye’s latest him vs. the system tirade, but it’s pretty epic. Expecting Kanye not to speak his mind is like expecting him not to rap about a Deloreon.

“I hate business people. People get on the phone with me and [ask me]…’what kind of business are you doing? What’s the numbers? How much did you sell? What’s the radio spins? How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and s—?”
Kanye’s not here for a shampoo with his face on it, which sounds brilliant, actually.

“Remind me again why we in this s—.”

“Since when was making music about getting rich? Since when was making art about getting rich?”
Says the guy who’s responsible for one half of Watch The Throne, a boastful album about all of his riches.

“Remind me again why the Grammys can suck my d—.”
Stand by your words, Ye. No public apology this time.

“Remind me again who’s the original Superfly.”
You are Kanye, you leather pants in the summer time wearing majesty.

“I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f—– with that “Suit and Tie.”
This can be interpreted two ways. Either he’s using a play on words meaning he’s not wearing a suit and tie because he’s anti-corporate, or he literally may hate “Suit and Tie” as a song. Either way you know he got a ‘WTF Kanye’ call from Hov.

“Every rapper always rap about f—– somebody else b—–.”
Basically.

“Real n—- don’t live too long in this s—-.”

“I could give a f— about your comments. I promise.”

“‘Cause we all gon’ die one day. I’m live my life my way.”

“Can you please support me. I swear I’m a nice n—-a now.”
A little sarcasm poking fun at how POC often have to kow-tow and tap dance. We see what you did there.

“What’s my public rating now? Are people liking me again?”

“They forgot about the whole Beyonce thing right? Ok cool. Is it okay now?”
We forgive you Kanye. (*whispers* Some of us were never mad). Promise.

“Everything’s been so homogenized and it’s all big business and there’s no creativity.”

“Really we have the ability to have the human utopia if we just help each other.”
Well can you help us with some of these student loans? That’d be a great start to human utopia. We’re just sayin’.
