MUSIC SEEN: You Oughta Know’s Neighbor To The North Serena Ryder Makes Play For NYC

We’ve been having a blast sharing our June You Oughta Know artist, Serena Ryder‘s, personal photos but now it’s our turn to share ours. VH1 stalked our favorite Canadian singer-songwriter (sorry, Biebs) as she made her way around New York promoting the U.S. release of her Juno Award-winning album Harmony.

While in NYC, Serena kicked it at Bowery Ballroom on the Lower East Side with Top 20 Countdown host Jim Shearer before hitting the stage for an incredible show. Of course, we invited her to VH1 HQ where she showed us her amazing talent for accents and rocked an incredible cover of  Marcy Playground‘s “Sex and Candy.” VH1’s amazing photog Jen Marigliano was there to shoot every moment of the ridiculously talented (and hilarious!) “Stompa” singer’s trip for our recurring photo-series, Music Seen.
