Warrant “Cherry Pie” - This sweet song is the title track of Warrant’s very delicious album. Supposedly, Jani Lane whipped the song up in just 15 minutes, when the president of Columbia Records asked that a rock anthem be included on the album. Lane must have used some Betty Crocker instant mix, because not many songwriters have the chops to make hits in a matter of minutes. Very impressive. And of course, in keeping with the food theme, it turns out the song was written on a pizza box. This innovative “notepad” is reportedly on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida.
