Twerk Anthems Of 2013

by

5. Miley Cyrus, “We Can’t Stop”

“We Can’t Stop” is not an obvious “twerk anthem,” but thanks to the singer’s popularity and MTV VMA performance, it’s probably the most popular song of the year.

6. Rihanna, “Pour It Up”

She may have not released a new album this year, but she kept fans appetites wet with this slow jam. The signature hand claps keep the asses bouncing as RiRi purrs over the song.

7. RuPaul and Big Freedia, “Peanut Butter”

Aside from “Bubble Butt,” this is one of the more purely energetic jams on the list. Ru’s song keeps the asses shaking as displayed in the video.

BONUS: Horse & Hammer, “Christmas Twerk”

This song is not really a “twerk anthem” but you have to appreciate that someone took the time to bring Christmas into the fold. So, here it is: The “Christmas Twerk” jam.
