“Farewell tours are for those band’s that lie to their fans and come back in about 5 or 10 years.” So says Tommy Lee, drummer for the long running heavy metal band Motley Crue, in the wake of the band announcing their final tour. Final, not farewell. The band is so adamant that their upcoming ‘All Bad Things Must Come To An End’ tour is the absolute last Motley tour ever they’ve signed a binding “cessation of touring document,” which makes it official they will never hit the road under the name Motley Crue ever again. Seriously. VH1 News caught up with Lee and guitarist Mick Mars shortly after their press conference announcing the tour.
