If you haven’t heard already, Stop/Watch artists have been taking the musical sphere by storm, rocking out our favorite hits in just one minute. Yep, you heard right – ONE MINUTE. But from the many fabulously condensed performances, including the talented likes of the Goo Goo Dolls and Backstreet Boys, we must admit – Fall Out Boy really werrrked it. “Young Volcanoes” is a catchy song as is, and we mean really catchy. But when you set it to 60 seconds, a new world of awesomeness emerges and it’s a total mind-trip. If you don’t believe us, check out our GIFs below to see what all the fuss is about. Lead vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump has his work cut out for him as he sings and plays the song super speed, and drummer Andy Hurley claps himself silly trying to keep a beat. It’s hilarious, fast-paced and totally worth a watch.
Fall Out Boy’s “Young Volcanoes” will have you erupting with laughter…
(Get it? That’s a volcano joke.)
Right from the start, Andy tries to keep a solid beat.
Then Patrick gets to singing… and he loses himself in the music.
It’s like an outer body experience. Or so we imagine…
And then the song gets fast. Like really fast.
And Andy loses control. Laughing ensues.
And then they giggle and it’s pretty darn cute.
Whether you’re a Fall Out Boy fan because their songs got you through the toughest of high school times, or because you idolize the Pete Wentz hair evolution – this “Young Volcanoes” rendition has something for everyone to enjoy.
