The hip hop world of the ’90s was all about the rap group and in every group there was the main lady!From Death Row to Roc-A-Fella, each group wanted to rule the air ways and knew that adding a female rapper to their mix would make their sound even better. From the east to the west, the north to the south, every rap group found the one lady that would enter the ring to fight for the title of best femcee. These 10 ladies ruled the scene and brought their unique sound to the rap game. We all believed that they had the skills and the talent to be the best, and in the ’90s they were. You couldn’t turn on the radio without hearing these ladies spit their 16 bars, drop the mic, and walk away triumphantly -but what happened next?
