Fall Out Boy fans have a lot to be happy about this past year. From the release of their hit comeback album Save Rock and Roll, to their ongoing music video series The Young Blood Chronicles, the band has been staying busy and showing why they deserve a place on rock’s center stage. Now the band is poised to release the Chronicles final two installments, which will premiere this Wednesday May 21st at 9/8C on the Palladia network.
Inspired by zombie movies and telling the story of a band who loses their soul, and some body pieces as well, The Young Blood Chronicles grew from the debut video off Save Rock and Roll. “We shot a video that was going to be a viral video with 2 Chainz before “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark” and then we really liked how the video came out and decided to torture ourselves, literally and figuratively and make a video that chronicles an entire story for every song on the album” said bassist Pete Wentz about the series. Singer Patrick Stump added, “Basically the 2 Chainz video raised a lot of questions for us and we wanted to follow those leads, figure out why the band’s in the van, why is he burning all these records, like what’s happening basically.”
Tune in to Palladia Wednesday night to see how The Young Blood Chronicles concludes and then come to back to VH1.com Thursday May 22nd and watch exclusive video commentary from Pete and Patrick about all 11 videos in the series.
