Why did Drake cancel his performance at the 2014 Wireless Festival? Nick Cannon tells Robin Thicke that he’s the one who “screwed up” and the Backstreet Boys want to put out a documentary that shows the making of In A World Like This.

  •  Drake put out a statement saying that he was forced to cancel his performance at the Wireless Festival this weekend because he is sick. But fans shouldn’t be too upset because huge acts like Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Outkast are still confirmed to perform. Here is the complete statement from the rapper:

“To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won’t be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend. I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me. I will be focused on resting for a quick recovery. I have the best fans in the world and I can’t wait to come back to make more incredible memories together.” [Wireless Festival]

  • Ariana Grande totally killed it on “Total Ariana Live” last night with so many exclusive firsts. Are you regretting not watching it? Well, don’t worry because “TAL” is available on demand NOW. Relive the magic. [MTV]
  • Nick Cannon went on Huffington Post Live to promote the upcoming season of “Wild ‘N Out” and ended up being asked to freestyle about Robin Thicke.

“My man Mr. Thicke / shot caller / big baller but now he got an album out called ‘Paula’/ You the one that screwed up/ You the one with blurred lines / Y’all should’ve seen it coming, I call them blurred signs.”

The freestyle was definitely all in good fun and it is refreshing to hear Cannon straight up, tell it how it is. [HuffPo]

  • Our beloved Backstreet Boys have been shopping around a documentary they created surrounding the making of In A World Like This and the tour that followed. Instead of doing a normal press junket, they wanted people to get a real inside look at the process and their journey. Will you be watching? [Billboard]
