We fell for Adele when she was chasing pavement back in 2008, and it seems like this British beauty is still running. She can crank out hit single after hit single, and she barely breaks a sweat. How DO you do it, woman?! Aside from her catchy tunes, which have enough grit and passion to fill the seats in any (and every) music venue, this You Oughta Know alum gives performances that will knock your socks off – and this one is no exception. She’s wowed us many times before, included her heart-melting appearance on Unplugged, but that friends merely skims the surface.
While Adele’s heart-wrenching lyrics might put you into a lovesick tizzy and pull on your heavy heart, her smile, radiance and sensational riffs will bring you right back to where you need to be. Palladia is airing her full Live From The Artists Den concert Wednesday March 5 at 9/8C. We’ve got a sneak of the U.K. sensation rocking her hit “Rolling In The Deep” at the Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club in Santa Monica, CA. But before you press play, here’s a look back at the times Adele made us completely sob – and herself. Ya know, if you’re in the mood for wallowing in some glorious misery.

It’s obvious we all love The Fray, heck – we get unravelled just thinking about them! (Yep, that was a “fraying” joke.) From day one they’ve been churning out hits, like “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and then the ever-so wonderful “How To Save A Life.” And now, the Fray is performing a compact version of their hit “Love Don’t Die“ for VH1′s Stop/Watch. Is watching these guys crank out the catchy tune in under a minute as easy as it looks? There’s only one way to find out.
Happy Valentine’s Day!Aw shucks, we’re just feeling so ooey gooey inside that we decided to share some heartfelt love songs with you. But don’t worry – they’re not too mushy, they’re just totally awesome. Do you think Mary Lambert‘s video for “She Keeps Me Warm” or Paramore‘s “Still Into You” is the better song for lovers? We love them both (and you!) so we need your help to decide. Hurry chocolate is running out! We mean time. TIME is running out. Sheesh, someone better get us a chocolate heart ASAP. Read more…
John Newman‘s minute-long condensed version of his single “Love Me Again” for VH1′s Stop/Watch is simply amazing. Is it because of his English charm? Or perhaps his delicious soulful voice? Hard to say, but we know it’s a song that makes everyone love him… again. And again.
Game time! The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics are well underway, and we think it’s pretty cool. Yeah, that was a winter “cool” pun. Since Russia is already in the spotlight this week for their celebration of sports, we’ve decided to branch out the Russian achievements and look at their musical success. t.A.T.u.and Pussy Riot are two marvelous (and outspoken) bands that have emerged from this chilly country of borsht and blinis, and we thank them for all they’ve donated to the sphere of melodic madness. So vote now and tell us whether t.A.T.u.’s video for “All The Things She Said” or Pussy Riot’s ”Punk Prayer – Mother of God, Chase Putin Away!” is your favorite.
Hey sports fans, pumped for Super Bowl Sunday? I know we are! So much in fact, we’ve been celebrating the sports-tastic event all week, with some Super Bowl Blitz entertainment. These music festivities, hosted by Nick Cannon and Stacy Keibler, included stellar performances by J. Cole, Janelle Monáe, Fall Out Boy and TLC. But no fear if you missed it, we’ve got hot talent on the upcoming roster. Goo Goo Dolls will perform tonight on VH1 at 11/10C (catch the livestream here) and Gavin DeGraw will rock out tomorrow night. So much excitement! Read more…
Yep, it’s no walk in the park molding the next hit song, and it’s even harder shortening that stellar tune into a 60-second cohesive piece of brilliance. But somehow, someway, VH1′s Stop/Watch artists manage to do just that, and we’ve got a hot selection including the Goo Goo Dolls‘ very own John Rzeznik throwing down the croon-worthy “Come To Me” in under a minute. Just when you thought that song couldn’t be more addictive… it did.
But the Goo Goo Dolls frontman isn’t the only singer stepping up to the plate. Diane Birch reworked “Superstars” and Lucius restructured the delightfulness that is “Turn It Around”. But don’t take our word for it. Check out our video gallery to see if they can all beat the clock.
Hey boys! Can you hear us ladies?! Jessie J and Beyonce are two fabulous female artists who give guys a shout-out in their music (and a feisty shout-outs at that). Sometimes the lyrics are ferocious, and other times they’re simply controversial (give a good listen and you’ll know when you blush). But whichever way you want to spin it, the songs are unbelievably addictive. Do you think Jessie J’s video for “Do It Like A Dude” or Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” is the catchier male call-out?
It’s no secret the weather has been a hot mess recently. Heh, we mean – cold mess. The polar vortex (yep, we’re getting technical on you) is moving cold air all across the USA, and baby we can feel it. But just because these frigid temperatures can be a bit of a buzz kill, doesn’t mean we can’t go on partying in the warmth of the indoors. And while we’re at it, let’s pretend we’re on the beach with some bootylicious bikini-clad ladies. Sound good? Read more…
