Gavin DeGraw is all set to close out VH1’s Super Bowl Blitz–but do we have his set list? Justin Bieber may be in a lot of hot water right now, but he is about to brave the cold New York weather to watch the Super Bowl? Can you match your favorite celeb with their favorite Super Bowl snack?
Most music artists aren’t afraid to strip down and show us what they’re working with, but none of them seem too keen on going “the Full Monty” for their music videos. So how does a mega star show off their naked bod without showing all the goods? Well, it looks like celebrities have come up with a myriad of creative ways to cover up their naughty bits while being nearly nude that range from creative camera angles, to strategically places bubbles to an entire wrecking ball.
Sure, some people might be mad that Kendrick Lamar lost the Best Rap Album Grammy Award to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, but the most egregious Grammy snub came during the evening’s “In Memoriam” tribute. The Grammy Awards left Slayer‘s Jeff Hanneman and Iron Maiden‘s Clive Burr and off of the In Memoriam montage–despite the fact that Hanneman actually won two Grammys!
Sure, Daft Punk and Pharrell have already scooped up numerous Grammy Awards including Best Recording and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Get Lucky,” but when was the last time other celebs have gotten lucky? Lorde can officially no longer say that she’ll never be a royal. The 17-year-old You Oughta Know artist has officially cemented her place as a pop princess with her understated, yet outstanding, Grammy Awards performance of “Royals” tonight. Lorde kept true to her roots with her performance and gave us a simple stage, a simple outfit and absolutely bonkers dance moves. HASHTAG CLAW HANDS!
The Grammy Awards are the one night each year that music industry honors its very best talent and also showcases its very worst in fashion. In past years, outrageous fashions have run the gamut from Jennifer Lopez‘s infamous (and infinitely hot) Versace gown, to Nicki Minaj‘s dark red cardinal costume, and Lady Gaga‘s egg. And this year, stars like Cyndi Lauper and Skylar Grey are (unfortunately) continuing the not-so-proud tradition of worst dressed celebrity fashion at the Grammys.
Bastille made their Saturday Night Live debut last night. Host Jonah Hill introduced the British rock band on stage to perform their popular singles, “Pompeii,” and their ballad, “Oblivion.” All in all, the band gave two fantastic performances. If American audiences didn’t know the group (which is poised to be America’s new favorite band) before last night, they definitely have no excuse not to be fans now.
The Grammys exist to honor the best achievements in music, but they also provide a stage for some of the hottest outfits you’ll see all year. See, unlike other awards shows, where it’s all about grace, class and style, the Grammys are about putting on an outrageous show and ramping up the sex appeal. Here’s a look back at the sexiest Grammys look of all time.
