The lovely Iggy Azalea has been setting both the charts and our hearts on fire with her brand new album, The New Classic. She’s double trouble on the Billboard Top Ten with her Ariana Grande duet, “Problem,” and also her solo single “Fancy,” which features an awesome Clueless-inspired music vid! Despite her crazy life, she found time to swing by VH1 headquarters in NYC to answer questions and show off her fab fashion.

The four brothers of KONGOS (Danny, Johnny, Dylan and Jesse), may be among the most crush-worthy VH1 You Oughta Know artists, but let’s not forget that these guys know how to ROCK. Just listen to their brand new single, “Sex On The Radio,” for all the proof you need. The guys came all the way from South Africa to rock us in New York City with their unique blend of African rhythms and amp’d up guitars, and we had an expert photo crew on hand to document a day in the life of a world famous group.

Last night’s Billboard Music Awards took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, land of fanny packs and sequin jumpsuits. In addition to a Michael Jackson hologram and Robin Thicke desperately trying to get his wife back, there were some incredibly poor fashion choices on the red carpet and beyond.
Everyone knows that flower crowns are the official headwear of music festivals. Something about the warm weather coupled with the sound of music inspires people to commune with nature and weave daisy stems through their immaculately coiffed hair. This weekend at Hangout Fest 2014, we invited folks to tweet photos of themselves with their finest floral headbands. Only five were chosen to be shown on the main stage jumbotron, but there were many more who totally rocked the roses. So we’ve decided to give them all a little shine!
You came, you played, you uploaded your music to Instagram. And then there were 60. VH1 has partnered with Universal Music Group’s Republic Records to create Make a Band Famous, a talent search unlike any other. After two weeks of submissions, we’re ready to move on to the next phase. Who’s coming with us?
Speculation has swirled around the Carter-Knowles family in the wake of surveillance video showing a physical altercation between Jay Z and his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles. As we get closer and closer to summer, we know you’ll be filling your calendar with all the music fests your heart desires. Palladia, VH1, and Northside Festival already have a spot on your list, but now we’ve made the shindig even more amazing by adding a bunch of your favorite artists to the lineup.

Epic rappers and singers like Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicki Minaj hail from places all over the world, but they never forgot where they came from. These superstars made sure to give their hometown a major shout out in some huge chart-topping music videos!
It’s another day and the #SolangeGate continues to unfold in unexpected ways. The latest is news that Solange Knowles and Jay Z recently went jewelry shopping in New York City. The news came just a day after video of the singer hitting the rapper leaked to the internet. Apparently it was a seemingly carefully orchestrated PR move that never even happened. Greg Yuna, the owner of the jewelry store, debunked the rumors on The Wendy Williams Show. But that’s not the only crazy development.
