Lil Wayne Proves He Is Not A Human Being In “My Homies Still”

Lil Wayne and his skateboard take over suburbia in his new video for “My Homies Still” featuring Big Sean from the upcoming sequel album, I Am Not A Human Being Pt. 2. The front lawns of nice homes in a quiet neighborhood are crowded with Lil Wayne’s circus of disarmed naked mannequins, an elephant and random furniture. Not to mention a hyper Lil Wayne rapping in leopard shorts sans a shirt. “Don’t make my goons go stupid,” Wayne raps while the neighbor walking his dog looks rather perplexed right before his head turns into the dog’s and vice versa. Big Sean chills out next to his skeletal pal draped with a purple feather neck piece. And have we mentioned the chick making out with one of the mannequins on the porch? Read more…

Meek Mill And Drake Have An “Amen” Party, But Not In Church

Meek Mill’s recent dispute with local Philadelphia pastor over his song “Amen,” which Pastor Jomo Johnson believes to be blasphemous, didn’t phase Meek. Bright and early on Sunday morning he dropped the NSFW video to the controversial song featuring Drake. So, we’re assuming the Philly rapper wasn’t in church when he tweeted out the link to “Amen” followed by, “#amen? video is 100% real footage! Really my whips, really club liv, really my friends, really on a jet, really drake show! #mmg.” Everything is real footage, but we hypothesize the women passed out on the sofa and in the bathtub after a long night of partying isn’t “real.” But we get the drift. Madonna Parties In The Backseat Of A Convertible In “Turn Up The Radio”

Living la dolce vita is the motto in Madonna’s “Turn Up the Radio” video. As one of the world’s biggest pop stars, life gets hectic. But when life hands Madonna lemons she doesn’t make lemonade, she rides through the countryside of Italy in a vintage convertible escorted by a young, hot chauffeur. She escapes the noise of the flashes from paparazzi, but picks up various interesting individuals on the way. Nobody is off limits for Madge’s joy ride– breakdancers, random guys at the gas station, prostitutes, hitchhikers– they all have a place in her whip for fun times. Read more…

Forget A House Party, It’s All About Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan And Lana Del Rey’s Slumber Party

Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan and Lana Del Rey Have A Slumber Party

Who runs the world–girls! And running the world is much easier when you link up with like-minded bad girl rebels. On Wednesday night the streets of LA were a tad bit quieter when megastars Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey got together for a slumber party at Chateau Marmont hotel. That’s not to say they didn’t have their own little party in the privacy of their hotel room. According to X17online, a source revealed to them that the threesome spent the night playing board games and watching movies. Ohmygosh! If only we could’ve been a fly on the wall to hear all the naughty things they discussed.

Before their slumber party Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan had such a great dinner that Gaga tweeted to her new friend, “when you ordered a cucumber and a knife to the bar last night i thought your were gonna perform a vasectomy #justaskinnyb***h.” Gaga followed up with a Twitpic of a knife stuck in a large cucumber with the caption, “@lindsaylohan how much could one do with this arrangement!” The tweets have since been deleted, but Lindsay’s short response has not been: “#skinnysnack1 @ladygaga hahaha.” Forget about the knife in the cucumber, these three girls together are dangerous! Cucumber snacks, movies and board games are a recipe for trouble. A real triple threat.

Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange Is Doing Big Things With Expected 110-125K Sales

Frank Ocean Expected To Sell 110-125K Albums

It’s true. People don’t buy albums in massive numbers like the distant days of the 80s or 90s where going triple platinum wasn’t uncommon. That said, R&B sensation Frank Ocean is projected to do big numbers after digitally releasing Channel Orange a week early on iTunes after his appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The Def Jam artist is expected to open with 110,000-125,000 sales just from an iTunes release, which is pretty impressive considering he’s a new artist and had no additional retail push. Considering veteran Usher opened with 128,000 for Looking 4 Myself and Chris Brown topped charts at No. 1 with 134,000 sales for Fortune‘s opening week, Ocean’s slated success is a testament that fans will buy what they believe is quality music. Madonna Sued For Stealing Parts Of “Vogue,” Only 22 Short Years Later

Madonna Sued Over "Vogue" Hit

Money makes the world go ’round, so they say. Madonna is busy weeping over her own performance or having a minor nip-slip on her MDNA tour, meanwhile a Delaware company has hit her with a lawsuit claiming she stole parts of their song for her 1990 hit “Vogue.” Eons of years later, well, 22 years later, it has dawned on the company that “Vogue” allegedly includes portions of their 1977 song “Love Break.” Rolling Stone reports that VMG claims, “The portions of “Love Break,” which have been copied into “Vogue” and all its various ‘mixes,’ ‘remixes,’ videos, YouTube versions, etc., are numerous but intentionally hidden. The horn and strings in ‘Vogue’ are intentionally sampled from “Love Break” throughout.” Read more…

It’s In The Plans For Fleetwood Mac To Reunite For An Album And Tour

Fleetwood Mac To Reunite

Good news about Fleetwood Mac after the tragic suicide of former band member Bob Welch last month. During an appearance on CBS This Morning, Stevie Nicks said it’s in the plan for the group to reunite for an album and tour in 2013. Nothing is set in stone as of yet, but the possibility sounds promising. Last year Lindsey Buckingham did and interview with Rolling Stone and said, “Nothing is on the books right now. With Fleetwood Mac, there’s a lot of landmines out there politically and it’s hard to get everybody on the same page at the same time–but I think this might be one of those years where everyone will want to do the same thing.” Yesterday when Nicks was asked if everyone was on board she gave a definite, “Oh, yeah.” Read more…

Travis Barker Won’t Join Blink-182 For Australia Tour Due To Fear Of Flying: Should The Group Go On Without Him?

Blink -182 Forced To Tour Without Travis Barker

Blink-182 was warmly welcomed with their comeback album Neighborhoods–their first one in eight years– that landed them the No. 2 spot on the Billboard charts. The trio is currently touring Europe, and are booked to travel Australia in 2013. There’s only one major hang up leaving the pop-punk group in a pickle. Drummer Travis Barker will not travel to Australia with his group due to his phobia of flying following a 2008 plane crash in which he and DJ AM were critically injured. According to NME, Barker says the thought of a 24 hour flight is too much for him right now, which is totally understandable considering the trauma of surviving a plane crash where his assistant, bodyguard, pilot and co-pilot died. But the show must go on. Read more…
