Lady Gaga’s Sexy Dance Moves Lead To Death Threats Which Lead To Cancelled Indonesian Concert

Gaga Cancels Show In Indonesia

Just when we thought Lady Gaga was going to ditch her backup dancers and perform solo in Jakarta, Indonesia to adhere to their censorship guidelines, she has instead cancelled the controversial June 3 show. She sure does know how to start a ruckus. Cancelling the sold-out concert comes after religious leaders protested the pop star because of her explicit lyrics and racy costumes. Certain people were so opposed to her performing in Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population in the world, that Gaga received threats on her life. Let’s face it, no show is worth the potential of losing your life. Read more…

Raising “Daughters” Is Tough, Nas’ Daughter Destiny Makes A Cameo In New Video

Nas is unapologetically honest about what he’s experienced in his life. His music explores the good, bad and ugly. After much controversy over the details he disclosed in “Daughters,” the video has arrived. It’s chill and mellow like the soulful track. The third single from his forthcoming album Life Is Good gives a small glimpse into Nas’ private life as a father. Directed by Chris Robinson, the video begins with the birth of Nas’ daughter Destiny. Although an actress plays her role, Destiny makes a cameo at the end proving everything is all good with her and pops. Read more…

All The Boys Go Crazy Over Rihanna: Chris Brown And Meek Mill Exchange Subliminal Tweets Over The Pop Star

Chris Brown and Meek Mill Twitter Beef Over Rihanna

When you’re one of the flyest badgirls on the planet like Rihanna, you don’t sweat the small stuff like having a pop singer and rapper throwing subliminal shots at each other on Twitter over you. For Memorial Day weekend Rihanna hung out (and held hands) with Drake down in Miami, according to NecoleBitchie.com. The two were in Miami to shoot French Montana’s “Pop That” video. Rihanna sure does have a forgiving heart.  It was just a couple of weeks ago folks were up in arms over Drake’s alleged diss about Rihanna in his verse on 2 Chainz’s “No Lie.” While she was schmoozing with Drake, who has confessed his love for this woman a million times before, Chris Brown and Meek Mill seemed to be throwing jabs back and forth on Twitter. Yes, you read that right. Rihanna’s in Miami partying it up with Drizzy, meanwhile Chris Brown and Meek Mill are engaging in petty beefs on social media. All over Rihanna. Play on, player! Woodkid’s Black And White “Run Boy Run” Video Slays Your Favorite Music Video

Yoann Lemoine, aka Woodkid, is a man of many great talents. You may not know the name yet, but you’ve seen his work in the form of music videos from Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” and Lana Del Rey’s “Blue Jeans” to Drake and Rihanna’s “Take Care” and Taylor Swift’s “Back to December.” The French indie musician, graphic designer and music video director released his first EP Iron last year. More recently he directed “Run Boy Run,” which is the video to his new single. And we’re running alright– our finger over the replay button.

It’s an entire black and white video, which makes the cinematography that much more impressive. A young boy runs with tears streaming down his face into another world because the world he’s in “isn’t meant for [him].” Nature and an obscure white building  are the only other things in sight until eagles and a monster made of hay suddenly appear. We won’t tell you what happens next because you have to watch the video!

With minimum props Woodkid creates a phenomenal graphic piece of art. We were hypnotized by the beautiful simplicity of a little boy running with a sword with not much else going on. We predict his phone to be ringing off the hook with the biggest stars putting in a bid for his music video direction. At least that’s what we’d do if we were musicians. Run Boy Run by Woodkid

Known for hits “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) and “Give Me Everything,” the rapper is working on forthcoming album Global Warming, but currently has the lead single off the soundtrack called “Back In Time.”  He stresses, just a little, to VH1 News reporter that it’s not just any single. It’s the lead! Pitbull says he’s been working hard to get to this point. “Working hard, learning a lot, absorbing, observing, and applying,” he said. “This is just the beginning. Rihanna’s American Idol Performance Fuels Illuminati Rumors…Again

Judging by Rihanna’s performance on last night’s American Idol season finale, she has no intention of killing the Illuminati rumors any time soon. If anything she’s laughing at the ridiculous conspiracy theorists by feeding them exactly what they want. In an Egyptian themed set-up, Rihanna performed her No. 1 single “Where Have You Been” from her sixth album Talk That Talk . Rocking her new dreadlock hairdo, Riri emerges from a brightly lit pyramid. She and the pyramid are guarded by shirtless men while other bare chest men beat on the drums. Dressed in all black Rihanna immerses herself into the choreography similar to that of the dance moves in the video. Vocally Rihanna’s voice sounds strong, and of course we appreciate her singing live while dancing. Read more…

Lil Wayne Twitter Thugging, Says “F*CK Pusha T”

Pusha T Disses Lil Wayne on New Track, Wayne Responds

We tend to like our beef on a bun or with A1 steak sauce, but if it’s rap beef, put it on wax rather than Twitter. Well, that’s exactly what Pusha T of G.O.O.D. Music did in his hot new track “Exodus 23:1″ where he disses Drake, Lil Wayne and the entire YMCMB squad. GlobalGrind.com suggests the diss is a response to Drake’s slight jab on Meek Mill’s “Amen.” On the record Drake raps, “G.O.O.D ain’t good enough, and your hood ain’t hood enough.” Although it’s not clear if Drake was throwing shade Pusha T’s, Pusha T responded on his latest track featuring The Dream. 2 Chainz Says, ‘NYPD Tried To Assasinate My Swag’ By Arresting Him For Four Finger Ring

2 Chainz Brass Knuckles Were Four Finger Rings

When 2 Chainz LaGuardia Airport arrest hit the news yesterday we knew, as the wise saying goes, something wasn’t clean in the milk. After finding what TSA believed to be brass knuckles in Chainz’s carry-on bag, NYPD took him to jail on a misdemeanor possession of a weapon charge. The southern rapper spoke with MTV News and said the NYPD tried to “assassinate my swag.” Turns out the alleged brass knuckles was only a four finger ring, one of the many pieces of jewelry he has custom made to complement his style. MTV News reports the rapper spent eight to nine hours in jail (according to 2 Chainz) and had all of his jewelry confiscated before he was released after eventually pleading guilty to a lesser unspecified charge. What’s with all this swagger jacking? Read more…
