Nickelback Get Caffeinated With Jason Alexander And Brooke Burns In “Trying Not To Love You” Video

Nickelback aren’t actually in the video for “Trying Not To Love You,” the latest single off of Here and Now. Instead they go full-caffeinated and funny, and it’s a refreshing change from the generally serious rock band. The clip stars Seinfield‘s Jason Alexander (aka George Costanza) as Bud, the proud barista of the plainly named Cafe, and Baywatch‘s Brooke Burns as Gennifer with a G as the center of his latte art universe. Bud’s specialty is the half-caff mocha soy latte-ccino but Gennifer just wants a plain latte, and so he sets out to pour her one so beautiful it could send her into some sort of sexy espresso-bean-and-steamed-milk, 90’s music video referencing orbit. Think LIT‘s “Miserable,” but instead of Pamela Anderson on a fur rug, we get Burns shimmying in a pile of coffee grounds. Anyways, Bud’s good, but along comes a motorcycle riding, vest wearing, sunglass-shaded better one who can paint anything you want in a single pour and the latte-art battle for the lady’s heart is on. Worry not, though, because a coffee made with love is the tastiest cup of all.

Like Katy Perry, Marina and the Diamonds Play “The Starring Role”

Meet Marina and the Diamonds. This pretty, Welsh-Greek “Primadonna” has spent the past six weeks stateside touring with Coldplay, and she’s rounding out the trip out with a handful of New York dates to celebrate the release of her new record Electra Heart, including a special acoustic set on the roof of the Mondrian SoHo on Monday night. Marina arrived looking angelic in a beige crop top and glittery pencil skirt, and was awash in the twilight of the city sunset. Staked out in a corner of the roof where Brooklyn and Queens glowed behind her, she performed a five song set with only a keyboard and guitar to back her.

T.I.’s Going To Be The Best Trouble Man There Is

T.I. On What To Expect From His Album It’s mid morning and the self-proclaimed King of the South is in the hallway of the VH1 offices sans shoes. In his socks T.I. rakes through a wardrobe rack in search of the perfect attire for his Big Morning Buzz Live appearance with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Slightly blocking the hallway I mumble a soft, “Excuse me” in order to walk by. “Oh. I’m sorry sweetheart. How are you?” he asks. The epitome of a southern gentleman to the core.

At 31, Clifford “T.I.” Harris has conquered more than rap. Acting, film producer, CEO of his record label Grand Hustle Records, owner of his own clothing line and reality TV star are only a few of the titles he’s held since his 2001 debut I’m Serious. Nearing the release of his eighth album Trouble Man (with no official release date) and T.I.’s excited again. During an interview with 105.1’s Breakfast Club he said he wanted out of the game. But things change. Read more…

Madonna Turns 54, And We Celebrate With This Timeline Of Her 54 Most Controversial Moments

Madonna's 54 Most Controversial Moments

Today is Madonna‘s 54th birthday, and she is no less edgy nor relevant than she was when she first broke onto the scene. As much the Queen of Pop as she is the Queen of Controversy, she has defined herself as a good at the game and even better at breaking the rules. And she is still, after all these years, causing trouble and making hit songs.

Throughout her career, she’s challenged pop to be better and badder, forever changing the game on one simulated sex act, defiant F-bomb drop, and hot young boy toy at a time. And at 54 years-old, she’s showing no signs of slowing down. So in honor of this day, we are taking a look back at her 54 most gloriously controversial moments. To many more!

That Bottle Brawl Might Cost Drake And Chris Brown $16 Million

Looks like that June altercation could cost Drake and Chris Brown their dignity and then some. Entertainment Enterprises, the company that owns the nightclub where the now infamous late night brawl went down, has filed a lawsuit against the dueling rappers, alleging “gross negligence,” “ultrahazardous activity,” and “illegal acts,” and seeking a not-so-cool $16 million in damages. And were that not enough to get the boys sweating, the suit goes on to suggest that defendant Brown and defendant Drake’s fight was a violent escalation of a “shared grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman.” That woman, of course, being Rihanna. Yikes!

Not much more has come of the fight since June — both continue to deny that they took part in the fight and neither seems to have the bait on that boxing match. Will they put their differences aside and come together to fight the case and maintain their innocence? Or will they take the strike, pay up, and continue to duke it out on the low — on the mic, over Moon Men, etc.?
