Top 20 Video Countdown
Top 20 Countdown host Jim Shearer was joined by the four brothers that make up the South African alternative rock band KONGOS and today’s chat was all about video vixens. Since Video Vixen month is in full swing, it was only right that Johnny, Jesse, Daniel and Dylan revealed who made it on their list of favorite vixens. From “Wicked Game” Helena Christensen to “Blurred Lines” Emily Ratajkowski, the list of vixens go from hot to hotter. Plus, did someone mention Katy Perry in “Dark Horse”?
This week was all about introducing August as I <3 Video Vixens month. Discover what it took to become a video vixen in 2005, Beyoncé will receive the coveted Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at this year’s VMAs, Hailie Jade may pledge for a sorority in the fall and more.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin visits VH1′s Top 20 Countdown to catch up with host Jim Shearer. The last time these two were together, Martin was only 26-years-old and trying to prove that he could sing and rap. These guys are so much fun to watch in this brand new episode of Top 20. Plus, Martin shares an intimate story about his father in this exclusive extra that didn’t make it on air.
Singer-songwriter Christina Perri dropped her brand new music video for this morning, and VH1 has an exclusive first look! “Burning Gold” features a throwback clip that harkens back to ’60s girl groups, bright lights, old school Hollywood glam -and lots of gold, of course.
Pharrell Williams is not done taking over 2014. His latest single “Come Get it Bae” has him teaming up with Miley Cyrus, and the video is a funky fun dance fest with a dash of twerking. It made waves when it dropped yesterday, and this weekend it’s premiering on VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown!
