Clocking in at five minutes and 26 seconds, “Give Me Love” is the longest song on Ed Sheeran‘s debut album, +. However, when he performed the song at last week’s You Oughta Know In Concert special (airing Thursday, November 21 at 9/8C), he delighted the audience by extending the song for three more glorious minutes.

Before You Oughta Know: A 12-Year-Old Lorde Pays Homage To Ronnie James Dio

The 17-year-old Lorde is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the biggest breakout music star of the year 2013. She was named a VH1 You Oughta Know artist in September of this year, her song “Royals” has spent six weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, and her debut album Pure Heroine will no doubt be showing up on many year-end Top 10 lists. As much vocal and lyrical promise as she has shown, though, we had NO idea that she could wail until we discovered this video of her at age 12 singing a Ronnie James Dio classic (via our friends over at Crushable)!

This Denver-based trio is made up of Wesley Schultz (lead vox, guitar), Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion), and Neyla Pekarek (cello, vox), and joined the VH1 You Oughta Know family back in July of 2012.
