July’s You Oughta Know artist Tove Lo is no stranger to VH1′s shenanigans. View Photo Gallery

You Oughta Know artist Tove Lo is one glamorous girl. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, the singer is blessed with those modelesque Scandinavian genes. When Lo — born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson — spent the day at VH1, everyone was stunned by her natural beauty. It’s no wonder she’s ready to step into the spotlight. After writing hits for Icona Pop, Adam Lambert, and Cher Lloyd, Lo is turning her attention onto herself (and letting herself shine).

Thanks to the buzz surrounding her first single, “Habits (Stay High),” Lo isn’t just about looks. She’s has an ear for smart, pop music.

Check out the behind-the-scenes photos of Lo hanging out at the VH1 office, performing her single in less than 60 seconds, and showing off those hipster model looks.

Sam Smith‘s fanatical tendencies know no bounds. As an artist on the rise, he repeatedly credits legendary divas like Whitney Houston and Chaka Khan for helping to shape his musical taste, and bows down to Beyoncé and her flawless fierceness. He thinks Kanye West is a genius and Miley Cyrus a necessary lightning rod for pop culture. But what about the always-controversial Justin Bieber? Eh, let’s just leave that one be.

Sam Smith Gets A Surprise Gift From Modern Family Star Eric Stonestreet

Just because someone is famous doesn’t mean they aren’t a fan. Celebrities are people, too, which gives them the right to freak out over the person/thing of their choice, just like us. In addition to worshipping at the throne of Beyoncé, June’s You Oughta Know artist Sam Smith loves Modern Family, telling GQ UK that Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) “is the best thing [he's] ever seen in [his] entire life.” Stonestreet has been playing the hilarious Cam since 2009 and has two Emmy Awards to his name, so it’s difficult to argue that he isn’t the greatest thing since the snooze button. Because we at VH1 like to make dreams come true, we saw it as our duty to bring these two together.
