Our favorite season of the year is just around the corner! No, not spring, silly — we’re talking FESTIVAL SEASON! After a great run at SXSW a few weeks ago, the jam-packed 2013 music festival season kicks off in earnest next week with the Coachella Festival (April 12-14 and again April 19-21). However, what we’re really looking forward to is the 2013 incarnation of Lollapalooza, which will be held in Chicago’s Grant Park for the ninth consecutive year. The lineup for this year’s fest, which runs from August 2-4, was just released and its a DOOZY. Here are the Top 10 Acts That We’re Most Excited To See At This Year’s Lollapalooza.

SXSW 2013: VH1 Says ‘Hello Austin!’ With Help From Youngblood Hawke, St. Lucia and Mia Moretti


With the music portion of the 2013 South By Southwest Festival well underway, now’s the time where festival attendees have to make difficult decisions about which of the over 5,000 acts in town they’re going to see. Fortunately for your friendly VH1 Tuner team, our decision about what to do last night was a no-brainer. We spent the night at the W Hotel in Downtown Austin for VH1’s “Hello Austin!” party, which featured performances from Youngblood Hawke, St. Lucia and Mia Moretti & The Dolls.

CONCERT REVIEW: Delta Rae Puts Their Percussive Power On Display At NYC’s Irving Plaza

One of the things that you notice when you go to see Delta Rae perform live in concert is the band’s remarkable rapport. There’s nary a trace of rockstar ego or “me first” energy emanating from the stage during their shows; instead, the band gracefully alternates between four primary vocalists —siblings Ian, Eric and Brittany Holljes, as well as Elizabeth Hopkins— in a manner that’s exquisitely respectful to each other, and also intriguing to the audiences that see them. Just In Time For Valentine’s Day, Olly Murs Covers Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours”

We’ve got a special Valentine’s Day surprise to share with you, courtesy of our February You Oughta Know artist Olly Murs.
