What’s Up With Lil’ Kim Shooting A Video Titled “Jay-Z” With Mob Affiliated Tony Testa And Mob Wives’ Carla Facciolo?

Lil’ Kim just refuses to appease her day-one fans with banging new cuts from a classic new album. We’re still waiting on you, Kim. When she’s not breaking up to makeup with her boyfriend on Twitter she’s making a video named “Jay-Z” complete with real-life mob affiliations. “Jay-Z” as a title though? Jay‘s people will be expecting a check from using the likeness of his name.

Kim has been using mob references in her music for years and in recent days has been hanging with Mob Wives’ Drita DaVanzo. Lil’ Kim Shouts Out Mob Wives “Homegirl” Drita D’Avanzo On New Verse

lil Kim shouts out drita in new song

From rapping on stage with Lil Kim at the “Return of the Queen” tour to getting shout outs in a Kim verse, Mob WivesDrita D’Avanzo’s street cred extends from the mob life to hip-hop. On Fred The Godson‘s “Tell Em I Go” Kim takes us back the 90s with a similar style resembling the 16 bars she’d delivered in her prime. “If Frank was alive he probably have me on Mob Wives/next to my homegirl Drita/getting f—- up at the bar with some Margaritas,” the Queen Bee raps. Back in May the love fest between Kim and Drita was apparent at the Paradise Theater in the Bronx when Drita surprised everyone and rapped Kim’s whole verse from “It’s All About the Benjamins.” And the crowd went bananas! CONCERT REVIEW: Lil Kim Brings Out Eve And Missy As She Reclaims Her Throne At Paradise Theater

Lil Kim Performs at Paradise Theater in the Bronx

Like true royalty, Lil Kim is back to reclaim her throne. Not that anyone should need a reminder of the Queen Bee’s iconic status when she entered the rap game in the mid 90s, but just in case, her performance Friday at the Paradise Theater in the Bronx served up a bit of nostalgia and excitement for what’s ahead.

On the New York City leg of her “Return of the Queen” tour, Kim hit the stage with a massive entourage and a crew of talented hip-hop friends. Dressed in a shiny beige pants paired with a jeweled bra the Queen Bee took the stage royally with flower petals at her feet while men held flagstaffs with her logos. Her fans welcomed her with deafening screams as she performed “Black Friday” from the mixtape of the same name. Although the mixtape received mixed reviews, this was not evident by the crowd’s enthusiasm to see Kim in her element. Read more…

And why wouldn’t Drita be excited?
