What Will Kanye West Rap About On “White Dress” For RZA’s Iron Fists Soundtrack

Kanye Blesses RZA of Wu-Tang's Movie With A Song For the Soundtrack

The clock is winding down for the RZA directed flick The Man with the Iron Fists. The Wu-Tang Clan‘s master producer embraced his obsession with kung-fu, which led to the Quentin Tarantino approved upcoming film that RZA also stars in. For the soundtrack dropping October 23, RZA called on hip-hop vets for the first album that will be released through his new label, Soul Temple Records. All Hip Hop reports acts like Ghostface Killah,Talib Kweli, Method Man, Pusha T and Kanye West have songs on the 16-track soundtrack. “MOVES LIKE JAGGER” VIDEO TO FEATURE JAGGER
According to Adam Levine, Mick Jagger himself will appear in the music video for “Moves Like Jagger.” We wrote a treatment, which the band can have free of charge: Jagger teaches the members of Maroon 5 (and Christina Aguilera, of course) the “moves” from his David Bowie duet video “Dancing in the Street.” [Rolling Stone]

NSFW OF THE DAY
Lloyd‘s new album King of Hearts dropped on Tuesday, and he’s already got a video for lead single “Cupid,” but today he premiered a new video for “Naked.” Don’t expect this one to play on television, though: it’s just Kamille Leai, aka Hot Wings from Real Chance of Love, being naked for over five minutes of the 5:22 running time. The camera angles keep the clip mostly PG-13-by-technicality, but we are talking about a video in which she takes a bath, and then takes a shower for good measure (before sexting with Lloyd, who doesn’t even appear in the video). If only this video had premiered a week ago! We could have made a good “teaser” pun. [Rap Radar]

50 Cent: Serving Beef

fiddy_chef.jpg

Earlier this week, New York magazine printed an interview with 50 Cent in which he sheds some light on his tendency toward beefing with…just about everybody who’s ever held a mic. When asked whether it would be worthwhile to occasionally take the higher ground and not get into petty dust-ups, Fiddy’s response is predictably along the lines of, “Nuh-uh, shawty.” Says 50:

I seen Jay-Z use those tactics countless times. He?ll just ignore the guy that?s being disrespectful. But I think a lot of them are like kids?if you don?t spank their hand and say stop, it gets worse. I think, better to give them an example of you ruining someone?s career, like I did with Ja Rule.

A man of his word, this month alone, 50 has verbally attacked Chamillionaire, Ghostface Killah and Master P (“None of those people sell records”) in this Spin interview, he’s called out Nas for being too literate (imagine a writer being a reader, too!) in XXL, and, most recently, he branded Lil Wayne a “whore.” His next trick? Releasing his long-delayed Curtis LP on the same day as Kanye West‘s Graduation (both are slated for a Sept. 11 release, if you can believe it). Institutionalized beef: innovative! As Kanye’s record is about 5,000 times more anticipated that Fiddy’s, do you think that getting his butt kicked on Soundscan will finally shut 50 up? It’s not likely, but we can hope, right?
