Music fans know the old adage: “death sells.” Sadly, just as in film, literature, and the visual arts, when musicians leave us, their albums and merchandise tend to leave the stores, selling faster than ever before. With children, record labels, band-mates, spouses and downright strangers as culprits, here are some especially unique, rather shameless exploitations of rockers like Kurt Cobain, rappers like Biggie and Tupac, divas like Whitney Houston, and more.
While the votes continue to roll in, we’re closer to determining who is the ultimate Queen of Pop. And while Pop Stars are known to be shady as hell, you’d be surprised to know that not all of them are. Let us introduce to you a special breed: the Diva. Shade is the Pop Diva’s second language. It’s Beyoncé coughing. It’s Madonna taking a slow sip of tea. It’s Whitney and Mariah not giving a flying f–k. Bet you’ve never seen Britney throwing these verbal knives!

But not all covers are sung equally, and occasionally you have that rarest of phenomenon: a cover that outdoes the original. Read on for some of our favorite picks! Read more…
Musicians are happy to open their doors to TV cameras whenever they have a new project to pimp. Reality shows have become a standard part of the promo package, but sometimes they backfire spectacularly by making the star look like a pee drinking, tuna befuddled, shrieking, unhinged loon. Think we’re exaggerating? Think again.
With all the troubles Justin Bieber is going through recently, fans are beginning to wonder if the people in his life are the source of his problematic behavior. Sometimes lovers and friends turn out to be plagues. For Bieber and many other musicians, these people can result in bad behavior and there’s no stopping them.
Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun told to rethink his friendship with budding rapper Lil Za and to boot him from the singer’s home. The advice went unheeded and Bieber’s house was raided by police after an egg-throwing incident resulting in Lil Za’s arrest on drug possession.
