We’re calling it now: Maybe Amanda Bynes is in the throes of a Joaquin Phoenix-like alter-ego mockmentary. That seems to be the only way to explain her insane automotive behavior, recent cheek-pierced makeover, and now her rather blunt way of propositioning Drake via Twitter.
Drake Brings Out Dipset And (Maybe) Hypothetically Mentions The Chris Brown Fiasco At Jones Beach Performance
Despite Drake’s recent involvement (or not) in a physical altercation with Chris Brown and camp, the show goes on. On Saturday Drake’s Club Paradise tour stopped at Jones Beach in NY where he performed in front of a crowd of 15,000 yelling fans. Earlier this week he promised them a second chance at Summer Jam. Unfortunately redoing Summer Jam didn’t mean YMCMB artists Nicki Minaj or Lil Wayne would come out as special guests. But Drake snagged the hottest upcoming rappers in the game–2 Chainz, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill and A$AP Rocky–to open his show. Cam’ron, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones of Dipset also reunited. “This is something that I gotta do for New York,” he said right before bringing out the “We Fly High” rapper who was later joined by his former Harlem group members. Even on stage Drake remained tight lipped about the now infamous Chris Brown brawl. But per PopDust.com, he was subliminally referencing the incident that we hope doesn’t spiral out of control. Is Chris Brown Really A Snitch For Talking To Police About His Brawl With Drake? [POLL]
What’s a Twitter beef when you have the camps of two superstars like Chris Brown and Drake ready to go to battle for their boys? Wednesday night’s brawl in NYC that resulted in Brown’s chin gash, his security guard’s head cut, an innocent bystander hospitalized and a bunch of broken glass is turning out to be one huge messy headache. As details continue to unfold, Drake maintains his innocence claiming he was on his way out of the club when the fight broke loose. Meanwhile, TMZ reports Chris Brown is talking with New York Police Department detectives about the incident. Due to the physical evidence Brown has he very well may have a case against Drizzy Drake. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, presented evidence to the NYPD Thursday night that Meek Mill and Drake were the aggressors. But Brown released Meek Mill of any wrongdoing with a tweet that has since been deleted from Brown’s timeline. According to TMZ, Brown spoke with detectives in an undisclosed location on Thursday. And now the snitching accusations have begun.
A quick search of “Chris Brown snitch” on Twitter yields a range of responses from “Chris Brown Is A Snitch: If I learned anything from The Wire it’s don’t be snitchin’” to “So not only is Chris Brown a woman beater, he’s a snitch too? Yo can we be done w this cat already?” Sigh freaking sigh. The “snitch” label is not surprising considering the “Stop Snitching” campaign that has been popularized by hip-hop. It’s street code ethics. But not really.
Although the media oftentimes inaccurately portrays the “stop snitching” mantra as a code in the black community that protects criminals, it’s a bit more complex. More than anything the anti-snitch notion hails from blacks long turbulent history and rightful mistrust of the police. It’s not that people simply want to protect criminals, it’s moreso that certain communities feel the police cannot protect them and aiding police may be their death sentence.
That begs the question: is Chris Brown a snitch? No, no and no again. Based on the facts—a bottle was thrown by someone in Drake’s entourage and Chris Brown was hit in the chin with said bottle— we can gather Brown was assaulted resulting in an injury. When normal, rationale people are assaulted they tend to call the police and file a police report. It’s really that simple. For those that believe he’s breaking some type of code, what would you have him do? Certainly people don’t believe two rich superstars should take matters in their own hands and perpetuate more violence, right? Right?
Chris Brown Has A Nasty Chin Gash After Brawl With Drake’s Entourage
Remember when we said all the boys go crazy over Rihanna? Let’s just say it seems to be more truth than jest. In the latest saga of guys fighting–literally this time–over RiRi, TMZ reports that Chris Brown was injured last night in a brawl with Drake’s entourage at NYC’s WIP nightclub. All the details of exactly what happened are still unfolding, but according to Brown’s tweet, a bottle was thrown by Drake’s crew that hit Brown in the chin. NYDailyNews.com claims it all began when Brown sent over a bottle of champagne to Drake as a sort of peace offering. Drake allegedly returned the bottle of bubbly with a note reading, “I’m still f*cking Rihanna.” Lawdhavemercy. Imagine Drake (or any rapper) taking out an ink pen at the club to write a note. We need to see the receipts on that one.
Brown rushed to Twitter tweeting a picture of the nasty gash along with a few choice words, “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!” Shortly after the tweet was removed. When the cops arrived to the scene at the wee hours of the morning both crews had already left. Clearly being international superstars means nothing when you have homies that are always down for whatever. Read more…
Justin Bieber And Drake Want You To Know They’re “Right Here”
There are few things that get us more giddy than a new Justin Bieber song or album on the horizon. Luckily for us it’s officially Bieber season with Believe dropping on Tuesday, June 19. So far we’ve zoned out to “Boyfriend,” “Die in Your Arms” and “All Around the World.” Today Idolator posted a leak of “Right Here” featuring Drake, which is only a snippet of the full song. Sounding like Chris Brown, Bieber is definitely on his grown man swag despite being barely legal. Drake raps about one thing he cares a lot about–love. As a team the duo deliver a hot song.
Usher’s influence on the 18-year-old pop star is apparent in both Bieber’s sound and lyrics. It’d only make sense that Usher’s protege pick up the very things that made Usher great and apply them to his own style. Bieber’s first album as an adult sounds like it’s laced with maturity and experience. The slow ballads touch on feelings and love while the more upbeat songs deal with partying and Biebs singing, “I can take you home.” His growth into adulthood not only means he’s legal (for all the cougars out there), but it also means the content of his music has expanded. And it’s Believable.

All The Boys Go Crazy Over Rihanna: Chris Brown And Meek Mill Exchange Subliminal Tweets Over The Pop Star
When you’re one of the flyest badgirls on the planet like Rihanna, you don’t sweat the small stuff like having a pop singer and rapper throwing subliminal shots at each other on Twitter over you. For Memorial Day weekend Rihanna hung out (and held hands) with Drake down in Miami, according to NecoleBitchie.com. The two were in Miami to shoot French Montana’s “Pop That” video. Rihanna sure does have a forgiving heart. It was just a couple of weeks ago folks were up in arms over Drake’s alleged diss about Rihanna in his verse on 2 Chainz’s “No Lie.” While she was schmoozing with Drake, who has confessed his love for this woman a million times before, Chris Brown and Meek Mill seemed to be throwing jabs back and forth on Twitter. Yes, you read that right. Rihanna’s in Miami partying it up with Drizzy, meanwhile Chris Brown and Meek Mill are engaging in petty beefs on social media. All over Rihanna. Play on, player! Read more…
Lil Wayne Twitter Thugging, Says “F*CK Pusha T”
We tend to like our beef on a bun or with A1 steak sauce, but if it’s rap beef, put it on wax rather than Twitter. Well, that’s exactly what Pusha T of G.O.O.D. Music did in his hot new track “Exodus 23:1″ where he disses Drake, Lil Wayne and the entire YMCMB squad. GlobalGrind.com suggests the diss is a response to Drake’s slight jab on Meek Mill’s “Amen.” On the record Drake raps, “G.O.O.D ain’t good enough, and your hood ain’t hood enough.” Although it’s not clear if Drake was throwing shade Pusha T’s, Pusha T responded on his latest track featuring The Dream. 2 Chainz And Kreayshawn Play With Knives And Blood In “Murder”
If scary movies tickle your fancy you’re in for a treat with sort of new rapper 2 Chainz’s new video “Murder” featuring Kreayshawn. In all its bloody gory the video has finally arrived four months after behind the scene sneak peek photos surfaced of the video. In an odd collaboration, 2 Chainz and Kreayshawn make murder look, uh, scary. Directed by Alex Nazari, “Murder” is set in an old creepy house where 2 Chainz sits while looking at double antelope heads. Even the common act of shaving (where blood spurts from his face) looks freaky. The basement is the hub of scary artillery like huge wrenches and saws, plus the unknown substance hanging that could be someone’s guts. Ewww! Read more…
Russell Simmons Wants People To “Get Off Rihanna’s D*ck,” Writes A Letter Defending Her
Rihanna has probably ran out of Fs to give about anyone having an opinion regarding her personal life. That didn’t keep hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons from coming to her defense on his website GlobalGrind.com. Our favorite bad girl has kept quiet thus far about the alleged shade Chris Brown threw her way in his freestyle over Kanye’s “Way Too Cold.” Shortly after 2Chainz’s “No Lie” featuring Drake dropped there was speculation on whether or not Drake was dissing the pop star when he rapped, “Then I f*cked her once and never f*cked again / She could have a Grammy, I still treat that ass like a nominee / Just need to know what that p*ssy like so one time, it’s fine with me.” Annoyed with the alleged attacks on Rihanna, on Mother’s Day Simmons tweeted, “Everyone needs to get off @rihanna’s d*ck…” with the link to a two paragraph post he wrote of the same title. In the letter Simmons calls out the double standard of rappers being able to sleep with a bunch of women without being called a h*, but a woman is scrutinized for her sexual liberation. Uncle Rush has a point, but this is all so…soap opera like. Read more…
Chris Brown Disses Rihanna In Freestyle, Rihanna Unfollows Him On Twitter, He Unfollows Back

As if Chriannagate wasn’t messy enough, last night Chris Brown released a freestyle over Kanye West’s “Way Too Cold (Theraflu)” that sounds like a diss toward his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Talk about a bad case of the ex. In the freestyle Brown raps, “Don’t f*ck with my old bitches/like a bad fur/every industry n*gga done had her/trick or treat like a pumpkin/just to smash her.” OUCH.
Per TMZ, Rihanna must have gotten wind of the diss track and responded by unfollowing him on Twitter promptly. She also Instagrammed a pink Tweegram that read, “Take that thumb out your butt.” Looks like Rihanna has finally had enough of Brown continually treating her like garbage.
In typical battle of the ex fashion, Brown also unfollowed Rihanna and eventually tweeted: Read more…
