Taylor Swift, Stop These Late Night Rendezvous With Ed Sheeran RIGHT NOW!
Oh no, not again! Taylor Swift has left a trail of exes like blown roses over the cultural landscape, but when she goes after our very own VH1 You Oughta Know artist Ed Sheeran, that’s where we start getting all mother hen up in here!
Diddy Thinks Ed Sheeran ‘Is Some Other S#@*’
Diddy doesn’t co-sign other artists, admittedly. Unless he’s making bread from the artists (meaning they’re on his label or he’s featured on the song) Puff is not here for free promotion. Only he’s really, really feeling Ed Sheeran and wanted all of the Twitterverse to know. Read more…
Grammys 2013: Ed Sheeran And Elton John Form Their Own “A Team”
It’s incredible to see how far Ed Sheeran has progressed in his career since VH1 Tuner first met him last spring at the 2012 SXSW Music Festival. That night, we chatted to him for a few minutes before he played a solo acoustic show in front of 75 people or so —this was a few months before he became our You Oughta Know artist— but tonight, he performed in front of tens of millions of people worldwide alongside none other than Rock And Roll Hall of Famer Elton John. Grammys 2013: Ed Sheeran Notes That Tonight’s Crowd Is “On Edge”
Ed Sheeran was a big winner at the BRIT Awards last year, but tonight is the first time that our You Oughta Know alum has attended an awards show on American soil. Grammys 2013: Who Should Win Song Of The Year? [POLL]

If an artist wins the Grammy for Song of the Year, they’ve immediately been granted permission to stunt on everybody for at least a year with “Hi, I’m Grammy winner [insert name], and my song was, well, better than any other song that year.” It’d be pretty obnoxious but the Recording Academy acknowledging your song as the best one for the year is clutch. Performing With Elton John At The Grammys Is Giving Ed Sheeran Nightmares
The wrath of Elton John is scaring Ed Sheeran into having bad dreams. There’s a lot of pressure for the You Oughta Know alum to nail Sunday’s Grammy performance with the legendary Brit. And nobody wants to be called a ” f****ing fairground stripper” by EJ so Ed has no choice but to hit a home run. Read more…
Grammys 2013: VH1 You Oughta Know Artists Earn 17 Nominations

Now that the BeyBowl is safely in the rearview mirror, we now turn our attention towards the 2013 Grammys, which will be airing live from Los Angeles this Sunday night, February 10. Just today, we learned that our You Oughta Know alumnus Bruno Mars is set to perform alongside Sting (which makes PERFECT sense when you consider that “Locked Out Of Heaven” sounds exactly like an old Police song), which is yet another in a long line of performances that we’re looking forward to on Sunday. And while we’re on the topic of You Oughta Know artists…
Our You Oughta Know alumni scored an impressive 17 nominations when the 2013 Grammy nominations were announced back in December, including four nominations in the big four categories. Our February 2012 YOK artist Gotye picked up a nomination for Record Of The Year for his song “Somebody I Used To Know,” a song that he performed for a standing room only crowd in our 20th floor lobby earlier this year; our May 2012 You Oughta Know artist Ed Sheeran scored a nomination for Song Of The Year for his haunting ballad “The A Team”; our July pick, The Lumineers, were nominated for Best New Artist; and our YOK friends from way back in 2010, Mumford & Sons, picked up a nod in the Album Of The Year category for their massive new LP, Babel.
Here’s a complete list of the 2013 Grammy awards that our awesome YOK alums are nominated for this weekend:
