We’re only two days out from the biggest dance party in VH1 Divas history! Now I like to think I can rock hips, sway and sip with the best of them, but don’t worry if you’re not as confident. Check out our GIF wall of past Divas performers’ dancing for inspiration before you watch the show live this Sunday, December 16. The red carpet live stream kicks off right here at 8PM/7C.

Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, Rihanna and Drake at Barclaycard Wireless Festival In London

Inclement weather wasn’t enough to stop the show for London’s three day Barclaycard Wireless Festival of live music from the hottest acts out today. Fans’ enthusiasm didn’t seem to wean either with the bad weather as they reveled in sets from Rihanna, Jessie J, Rita Ora, Drake, Deadmau5, Afrojack, The Roots, Labrinth and more. Deadmau5, Drake and Rihanna were the three headliners on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. Despite both Drake and Rihanna’s personal matters in the states–the former being involved in a NYC nightclub brawl with Chris Brown and the latter grieving her deceased grandmother–they gave the people of London a mega show like the superstars they are. Last Lap: Black Sabbath Drummer Bill Ward Contemplates Dropping Out Of Reunion Tour And New Album

Black Sabbath Drummer Bill Ward Contemplates Dropping Out Of Reunion Tour And New Album
Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward has made the following statement regarding the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour and new album, “I would love nothing more than to be able to proceed with the Black Sabbath album and tour, however, I am unable to continue unless a ‘signable’ contract is drawn up; a contract that reflects some dignity and respect toward me as an original member of the band. Several days ago, after nearly a year of trying to negotiate, another ‘unsignable’ contract was handed to me. If I sign as-is, I stand to lose my rights, dignity and respectability as a rock musician.” Oh no — looks like there might be a spanner in the works! [A.V. Club]

Jennifer Hudson Wants To Do A Record With Mary J. Blige

We just watched the red carpet special for VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul, which airs Monday, December 19 at 9 p.m. ET. Aside from learning a few good spoilers (duets will include Jill Scott and Erykah Badu; Jennifer Hudson and Jessie J; and Kelly Clarkson and Ledisi singing Aretha Franklin‘s “Chain of Fools”), we heard J-Hud tell red carpet host La La Vazquez that she “wants to do a record with Mary J. Blige.”

Jennifer, who looked stunning in thigh-high boots and a super short dress, explained that Mary J. is the “epitomy of soul music today.” She continued: “She feels like a homegirl and I also look at her as an influence.” As much as we’d love to hear the powerhouse voices of these two ladies in one Watch the Throne-type effort, Jennifer doesn’t seem to be the only one that wants a big piece of Mary. La La asked quite a few celebs on the red carpet to name the next Aretha Frank, and Mary J.’s name kept getting dropped.
