Today it’s been reported that Beyonce has not only canceled a concert for “dehydration and exhaustion”, but that she also spent $1,000 on chicken.
Rumors are flying around town that Beyoncé is pregnant with her second child. Media Takeout started the gossip when they reported that the reason King Bey doesn’t want outside photography on her Mrs. Carter World Tour is to try to hide any potential baby bump photos. Then, this morning, Page Six reported the reason Mrs. Carter wore a not-so-flattering gown to the Met Costume Gala last week was because the dress was specially designed to cover her belly. Dun Dun DUN!
Just like we like to indulge in the selfies movement of narcissism on Instagram, celebs are no different. When it comes to posting pics for the double tap no one is exempt.
The theme of last night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala’s annual ball was “Punk: Chaos To Couture,” so it only made sense to invite a number of musicians to the soiree. Aside from perhaps Blondie, though, there were no actual punk musicians to be found on Anna Wintour‘s guest list, but that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t plenty to look at. From Madonna (who wore a cross dangerously close to her bottom!) to Beyoncé (looking extra curvy, wink wink), from Nicki Minaj to Miley Cyrus (the latter of whom REALLY bought into the night’s theme), most of today’s A-List musicians strode the carpet. But, we have to ask, who wore it best?
Noted “Tom Hiddleston as F. Scott Fitzgerald” enthusiast Meghan O’Keefe and I take on The Great Gatsby and debate each track on this epic soundtrack. How did Beyonce do on her cover of Amy Winehouse? How does Florence Welch compare to Lana Del Rey and Sia?
A sentence is announced in Lauryn Hill’s tax evasion case, shots are fired on the set of Jennifer Lopez’s new video, and Avril Lavigne commits herself to everlasting youth. Oh, and is Beyoncé pregnant again?!?
Beyonce, who is currently on the international leg of The Mrs. Carter Show, is said to have a lot specific demands when it comes to her tour stops. Her rider was reportedly revealed when an insider shared the singer’s secret needs.
Kelly Rowland received some well deserved praise when her makeup free photo for the No. 7 spot on People‘s ‘Most Beautiful’ list hit the ‘net. Posing for a national magazine without makeup was nearly unheard of, but Kelly did it and stunned.
Emeli Sandé was VH1′s You Oughta Know artist back in June of last year, and her reputation as an artist to watch only continues to grow. Not only did she perform multiple times during the Olympics last year, but her debut album, Our Version Of Events, recently broke a record held by The Beatles (!!!) for the most consecutive weeks spent in the Top 10 of the UK Album Chart (63 consecutive weeks and counting). As if that weren’t amazing enough, now she’s getting some serious shine for her Roaring Twentiestastic cover of Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love,” a song that appears on the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby.
