Over the years, tattoos have moved from being viewed as a form of rebellion reserved for select subcultures to fairly mainstream. With this growing popularity comes artists often being impulsively moved to express themselves via skin art. While some musicians become known for signature pieces that go down in cultural history, others simply have their idiocy immortalized for the world’s collective raised eyebrows. Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus and Drake are just some of the many celebs who got inked this past year with some interesting (and occasionally questionable) tats.
Ahh, the Christmas album. It’s somewhat of an industry standard. You know you’ve made it when you’ve put out a hit holiday disc! But few are brave enough to take on the challenge and many decide to just test the waters with a Christmas single. Either way, the artists who try should be commended for their efforts, even if they’re forgotten over the years.
