Pitbull And Shakira “Get It Started” So You Can Finish It…On The Dance Floor

Pitbull and Shakira on any track together is a combustible explosion of flavor. Pitbull’s “Get It Started” featuring Shakira oozes sultry, making it impossible to take your eyes off of either of them. Pitbull, like the OG that he is, has hired a private detective to spy on the woman he loves who is living a double life as another man’s woman. But this is a dance song, not a sappy tale. Pitbull dances in his luxurious living room while his lady parties it up at the club. When she tries to escape on her own she is captured and taken back to the unlucky guy until Pitbull rescues her to which she thanks him by a passionate night of romance. In a sequins gold dress Shakira sings her heart out on top of the world. And to celebrate the couple reuniting Pitbull treats her to his very own concert with thousands of screaming fans and fireworks. The explosion of fireworks were only an inkling as explosive as Pitbull and Shakira’s collaboration and hotness in this David Russo directed video. Read more…

Pitbull Made It To Alaska, After All

…And everything seemed to go quite well!

Yesterday, Pitbull packed up his parkas and Sheetz and shipped-out to the far-flung Kodiak, Alaska — as per the Internet’s wont — where he made good on his promise to visit the Walmart with the most “Likes” on Facebook. While in town, the warm-blooded but good-natured rapper mingled with the town’s 6,100 locals at Walmart, performed at their (très scenic!) Coast Guard base, and dodged bears. And all the while, he and David Thorpe, the jokester responsible for the #exile turned traveling partner, tweeted so as to assure that they were surviving and to prove that they were even having fun, to boot! At day’s end, Mr. World Order thanked his hosts, saying that he was “honored, truly,” and promising to work a Kodiak shout-out into a future song. Then he packed up his gifted bear-survival kit (repellant, bells) and bounced for a warmer climate. Dale!

The Votes Are In And Pitbull Is Actually Headed To Alaska

The polls have closed and the people have spoken: Pitbull is indeed headed to the far away and frozen tundras of Kodiak, Alaska! But he’s taking the man who got him sent there with him.

As we reported earlier this month, Walmart promised to host Mr. World Order and his preferred brand of energy-stripes to whichever store could accumulate the most “Likes” on their Facebook page. The competition was quickly hijacked by a trouble-making Boston Phoenix reporter and Something Awful contributor, David Thorpe, who figured it would be funny to send Miami’s pride to the coldest and most remote Walmart America’s got. Needless to say, his #ExilePitbull campaign worked, Kodiak’s far-off Walmart blew away the competition, and to Alaska Pitbull must now go. Read more…
