Hollywood pulled out all the stops for The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles, netting music’s best and brightest to come out and pay tribute to the 50-years of the Fab Four by playing some of their most iconic songs. Although the telecast doesn’t air until February 9th (a half-century after they famously made their American debut on The Ed Sullivan Show), the show taped last night at the LA Convention Center. If the guest list and photos are any indication, it’s going to be an historic night of television jam packed with unmissable performances!
February 7th marks 50 years since the historic day when the a Pan Am jet touched down at New York’s JFK airport, bringing the Beatles to America for the very first time. The 2014 Grammy Awards celebrated half a century of Beatlemania by reuniting Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr onstage for the first time in nearly five years…along with a little help from artists they helped to inspire!
