The Complete Guide To Each And Everyone Of ‘That Metal Show’s Musical Guests (So Far)

This coming Saturday, That Metal Show, the only television series about all things hard rock and heavy metal, returns to VH1 Classic. Now as much as we love the witty banter and bromance of hosts Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, we all know, the show is really about the music. One of the highlights of every episode is the musical guests, whether they’re shredding on guitar  like the incomparable Yngwie Malmsteen, on the drums like Anthrax’s Charlie Benante, or on the bass like the legendary Billy Sheehan. With the new season less than a week away, and Dream Theater ‘s John Petrucci on deck as the first musical guest, we thought it a good time to go through the archives and list each and every musical guest that has ever appeared on the show. Rock Rants: The 10 Most Epic Musician Meltdowns Ever Caught On Tape

10 Epic Musician Rants

Rock stars are famous for being a bit… temperamental. All it takes is the tiniest of sparks. Living in the spotlight has got to be pretty stressful, and it’s understandable that these folks crack every now and then. But occasionally their eruptions are pure comedic fury, with unhinged tirades that reach new depths of obscenity and profanity. Head down below to listen to 10 (very NSFW) of our very favorite musician rants and meltdowns. Enjoy!

Quakin’ – Songs To Help You Cope With Today’s Eastern Seaboard Earthquake

If you were anywhere on the Eastern seaboard in the last hour or so, you no doubt felt the effect of an earthquake that registered 5.9 on the Richter Scale. Here in Times Square at VH1 HQ, we felt the building sway and bounce uncomfortably for a good five or six seconds. Everyone seems to be okay, if a bit freaked out.

In order to help you (and us!) calm down on this hectic afternoon, we just created the following playlist of earthquake-themed songs for all you Spotify users out there:
Quakin’ – Songs To Help You Cope With The 2011 New York City Earthquake

(If you’re not on Spotify, this room on also just cropped up: Earthquake 2K11.)
