Are you sad to be trapped inside an office while all your friends live it up at South By Southwest? Don’t fret, Chef John Cusimano stopped by Big Morning Buzz Live this week with a fresh crop of drink ideas to liven up any party (or work day), helping to bring the spirit of South By to your own home. Remember: a bottle of liquor is cheaper than a flight to Texas…
As you prepare your dips and diva stances before Sunday’s Grammy Awards, allow us to announce something that will make your average award show routine that much more awesome. VH1 is teaming up with fellow Viacom networks CMT, LOGO, and MTV to bring you around-the -clock coverage before, during, and after Music’s Biggest Night. Want to get involved? All you need is a computer and an Internet connection. (You might want a comfy couch and some snacks. These things tend to run well into the night.)
VH1 Divas host Adam Lambert spilled some major beans in the office today when pumped for info about the event! Wearing remnants of a Movember ‘stache and some serious wrist candy, Adam let slip that he was “allegedly” chosen by Madonna‘s camp to cover one of her songs for the show. Yup, just like a prayer, Adam’s voice will be taking us there next Sunday.
The “proud Madonna fan” stopped short of revealing which Madge hit he’ll perform, but Adam did give us the low-down on what tackling a track by that iconic diva means to him. Which Madonna song do you think he’ll glam rock the best? Tell us in the comments, and watch December 16 at 9PM ET/8C to see the performance along with the rest of Divas lineup.

Welcome to week two of VH1’s new morning show, Jump Start Live! To help whet your appetite for the great things ahead this week — Aaron Sorkin! Cee-Lo! Regina Spektor! — we thought we’d give you a bit extra with Reeve and Jane Carney, the Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark stars who popped by the set last week. We were able to catch up with them for a few minutes and grilled them on whether or not they feel safe on the set of their big Broadway musical, who turned in the all-time greatest performance as Spider-Man and, of course, who they think would win in a fight between Batman, Superman and Spider-Man.
Don’t forget to tune in to see host Carrie Keagan interview celebrities and discuss the day’s hottest pop culture stories with co-host Gabe Liedman every morning at 10am until the Critics Choice Movie Awards air this Friday, January 14!
Hot on the heels of his viral smash, “Josh Groban Sings Kanye West’s Tweets,” none other than Josh Groban himself swung by the set of Jump Start Live yesterday. His new record, Illuminations, is building nicely and earning him new fans, thanks in large part to the success of his pop radio friendly first single, “Hidden Away.”
However, we didn’t ask him about any of that stuff. Instead, we wanted to get his thoughts on the “Get Josh Groban on SNL” Facebook fan page, what it was like to be parodied on that venerable sketch show not once but twice (!), and, of course, how the whole Kanye West Tweets bit evolved. The SNL stuff is in the video above, the rest is below. Enjoy!
