It seems like just yesterday that we were out in Las Vegas for the inaugural O Music Awards, watching Chiddy Bang break the world record for longest consecutive freestyle rap (and meeting Rebecca Black, natch). Now, we’re getting ready for the third incarnation of this truly unconventional awards show, and we’re excited to announce that this year’s big stunt will involve The Flaming Lips attempting to break Jay-Z‘s Guiness World Records title for Most Live Concerts in 24 Hours In Multiple Cities.
On June 27, VH1 will be streaming live from The Flaming Lips’ tour bus as they roll through the American South — beginning in Memphis and concluding in New Orleans— playing a total of eight concerts along the way.
