While receiving this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Kanye made his best acceptance speech yet—announcing that he’ll be running for U.S. president in 2020!
Twitter of course, got busy after hearing the shocking announcement.

So this brings me to my question — If the people had to choose between Kanye West or Donald Trump, who would America pick as the next U.S. president?
Both personalities are famously known for their controversial commentary that often leave people annoyed and/or confused after hearing their rants. They’re also very cocky and feel themselves way more than the average human being ever should.
I’m not sure how you feel, but candidates with not-so-great people skills don’t exactly scream “great Commander-In-Chief here” to me.
On the other hand, Kanye–being the visionary he is–most likely has an incredible vision for the country, beyond he realm of us mere normals. ’Ye can bring a Kanye-inspired beauty to the states, while Donald can bring…his hair plugs? Nope, I’m just playing. I think it’s a toupee.
Curveball: Would America reject both Kanye and Donald and want to have Deez Nuts instead?
You decide America! It’s time to cast your vote.
