Ever wonder where the cast of Hit the Floor got their start? Check out what we dug up about some of the casts’ first roles ever, and some you may have forgotten. We’ve got throwbacks from some of the casts’ earlier roles from Superman to She’s All That and even That’s so Raven, check out some throwback pics that you might not have known about or seen from some of the cast’s early days.

  • 1 Dean Cain/Coach Pete Davenport

    Dean Cain signed as free agent with the Buffalo Bills immediately after graduating college. After a knee injury, he decided to turn to screenwriting and acting. He’s appeared in series like A Different World, Beverly Hills 90210, Grapevine and Ripley’s Believe it or not! You might also remember him in his biggest role to date, as Superman in the television series Lois & Clark.

  • 2 Katherine Bailess/Kyle Hart

    Kyle Hart not only acts, but has been a dancer, cheerleader, and gymnast since the age of 4. She’s starred in TV series like One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls. You might also remember this southern bell in From Justin to Kelly (pictured), where she played Alexa, a sexy schemer who just couldn’t stay out of trouble (coincidence? We don’t think so!).

  • 3 Valery Ortiz/Raquel Saldana

    Valery Ortiz is most known from her role of Madison Durare in the television series South of Nowhere but first got her start on Nickelodeon’s Splat as host. Ortiz was also cast in the comedy Date Movie as Jell-O, a Jennifer Lopez impersonation (pictured).

  • 4 Jonathan McDaniel/German Vega

    Asha sure wasn’t the first to steal German’s heart. Aside from Jonathan’s movie roles in Nora’s Hair Salon and In the Hive, how could we forget Devon Carter from Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven! Maybe not so much Raven, (shade no shade) but Devon sure kept our attention! Devon is not only an actor, but rapper as well with 3 albums to date.

  • 5 Jodi Lyn O’Keefe/Lionel Davenport

    Jodi Lyn O’Keefe has been calling the shots way before her role as Lionel. Jodi made her debut in in Another World and shortly after landed a role in the CBS drama, Nash Bridges. Jodi may be best known for her role in She’s All That alongside Freddie Prinze Jr., and has also starred in The Vampire Diaries and Halloween H20 the sequel.

  • 6 Adam Senn/Zero

    Zero…Oh how we love you! We first saw Adam featured in the first season of MTV’s The Hills spinoff, The City. Adam then went on to model for Dolce & Gabbana and is still used in lookbooks today. You might also recognize him from the movie Video Girl where he played a music video director alongside Meagan Good.

  • 7 McKinley Freeman/Derek Roman

    McKinley is one piece of eye candy that’s never taken a break from giving his fans what they want [insert heart-eyed emojis here]. We know there’s two whole days before the next episode, so in the meantime you can catch McKiney in End of Watch alongside Jake Gyllenhaal as well Days of Our Lives, Second Chance Christmas (pictured), and All My Children.

  • 8 Brent Antonello/Jude Kincade

    Jude Kincade is Brent’s first role as a series regular and he is killing it! Brent has also starred in TV series Apex and Castle, as well as two short films. Since Hit the Floor Brent’s acting career has taken off! He will star in his first lead role in the Beyond Doubt , premiering this February.

  • 9 Taylour Paige/Ahsha Hayes

    Taylour Paige seems to have always had that “it factor”! After training in ballet, she became a student of celebrity choreographer Debbie Allen in 2001 and has been featured as a dancer in TV shows like Glee, Ballers and Bring it. Taylour has also been featured as a dancer in a Just Dance 3 interstitial and the music video, “She Came to Give It to You” by Usher ft. Nicki Minaj.

  • 10 Robert Christopher Riley/Terrence Wall

    In Robert’s early career he was casted to play the role of “Brick” as an understudy for Terrance Howard in a 2008 Broadway production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He performed this role in addition to his nightly role as “Brightie”. He has also starred in the Old Globe Theatre production of Marco Ramirez’s boxing drama The Royale (pictured).He has made appearances on Vh1’s Single Ladies, Law and Order and Tyler Perry’s For Better or for Worse.
