This Is How One Direction Is Probably Reacting to Zayn Malik’s Solo Debut Hitting No. 1

"I still get JeAaAloUuUsSs."

What’s a blessing to some is a curse upon others.

For example, our estrogen levels were #blessed last spring when Zayn Malik announced he was departing from boy band One Direction. One Direction, however, was sort of f—ed.

Zayn’s sexual solo debut “Pillow Talk” was released on January 28, and it has already reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, On Demand Songs charts, the U.S. Digital Songs Chart and the U.K. singles sales chart. It’s also slaying on Spotify and did the unthinkable: dethroned Biebs’ “Sorry.” That’s what a baby-making jam and video with a Gigi Hadid cameo will do to you.

Anyhow, Zayn is basking in his well-deserved glory and virtual panties being thrown his way, but where’s the rest of OD at??? None of the remaining members have made comments about the news on their social media pages yet. Are they tied up in meetings with their agents, mapping out their solo careers? Crying? Hitting things? We imagine this is probably how they’re feeling in this very moment.

  • Realizing all of the panties that are now dropping for him worldwide.

  • Thinking that could’ve been them.

  • But then being like: Wait. I’m part of OD, bitch.
