A Timeline of Floyd Mayweather, Jr’s Wild Ringside Styles

Snakeskin is his most subtle look.

By Frank Donovan

As if Floyd Mayweather, Jr’s boxing record weren’t impressive enough, the man sports a tightly coordinated and extravagant ensemble every time he steps out into the ring. Leather, ostrich, mink, alligator, python—Mayweather has worn them all during his fights. We don’t know how he manages to remain unhindered by these heavy and (literally) wild materials, but hey—whatever works! For the last several years, Pretty Boy Floyd has been dressed in handmade styles by Daniel Day, aka Dapper Dan, who has outfitted other stars like Jay Z and LL Cool J. Dapper Dan has been known to create not just the one, but many looks for Floyd to choose from for fight night. Join us as we take a look back at Floyd’s most out-there looks.
