These Co-Stars Liked Each Other So Much, They Got Hitched

From the set to the altar.

Meeting your significant other at work isn’t too uncommon. (That’s how my parents met!) However, when you’re a celebrity, such routine behavior gets amplified AF. When news broke Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan took their Step Up chemistry off-camera, you’d think Katie Couric announced actual aliens were invading Earth.

Tatum and Dewan aren’t the only people to meet on set, head to the altar and send the world into a frenzy. These 13 couples were all workmates before becoming bedmates. Sadly, some have separated, but the ones still going strong prove ~love~ exists.

  • 1 Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Jolie and Pitt infamously met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)–when Pitt was still very much married to Jennifer Aniston. However, sparks allegedly flew in between takes, and the two began dating shortly after. In 2006, Jolie confirmed she was pregnant with Pitt’s child. They officially tied the knot in 2014 and have six children.

The two met on the set of Dark Tide in 2010 and married in 2013. Unfortunately, they divorced in 2015, and Berry broke her silence about the relationship last November. “I keep pushing and I’m really happy to be here because whenever you’re going through anything in life, when you step outside yourself and focus on others, that’s always the best remedy for any situation that you’d rather not be dealing with,” she said, according to Us.

  • 3 Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Affleck and Garner said their first “Hellos” on the set of 2001’s Pearl Harbor. They fell in love while filming 2003’s Daredevil. They started dating in 2004 and were married by 2005. Unfortunately, they separated 10 years later, allegedly because Affleck cheated on Garner with their nanny. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” Garner told Vanity Fair.

  • 4 Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied

Millepied was Portman’s choreographer and brief co-star in the arty 2010 film Black Swan, which earned Nat a Best Actress Oscar. The two were married in 2012 and have one child. Their union is particularly ironic because in Black Swan, Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) asks Millepied’s character David Moreau if he would “f-ck” Portman’s character Nina Sayers. His response is less than enthusiastic.

  • 5 Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

In 1995, the soap opera All My Children brought this couple together. The day after they met, Ripa went up to Consuelos and said, β€œ’I had a dream about you last night. We were married and had a little girl and were on a plane to Rome”–according to People. They dated for a year and got married in Las Vegas on May 1, 1996.

These two met on the set of One Tree Hill and got hitched in 2005. Unfortunately, it did not end well: They divorced just five months later.

  • 7 Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes

The couple met on the set of Northern Lights in 2009. At the time, they were both married to other people–Rimes to Dean Sheremet, and Cibrian to Brandi Glanville. But that didn’t stop them from getting frisky in between takes…and eventually married in 2011. “The truth is that we’re human beings. … We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we’re human. We fell in love,” Cibrian told ABC News in 2010.

  • 8 Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter

First, they played siblings on Dexter. Then, they dated and eventually tied the knot in 2008. Unfortunately, they parted ways in 2011.

  • 9 Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz

Weisz and Craig met on the set of 2011’s Dream House. The movie was a critical failure, but something good came out of it: their relationship. They married in June 2011 with only four guests in attendance, including their two children.

  • 10 Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof

You know what they say about the Buffy the Vampire Slayer set: ROMANTIC. Well, not really, but it was for Hannigan and Denisof. The two met on the supernatural drama series and wed when the show ended in 2003.

  • 11 Vincent Kartheiser and Alexis Bledel

They met on the Mad Men set but kept it very professional. However, the director–and everyone else–knew they were perfect for each other, Bustle reports. They got engaged in 2013 and married in 2014.

  • 12 Cash Warren and Jessica Alba

These two met in 2004 on the Fantastic Four set. Alba told Cosmopolitan, β€œIt was kind of a love-at-first-sight thing, but I met him when I was dating someone else, so it started off as a friendship. I was actually attracted to his spirit and mind before it went to a physical place.” They married in 2008.

First came Step Up (2006). Next came marriage (2009). Then came daughter London in a baby carriage (2013).
