This Playlist Will Help Get You Through Donald Trump's Inauguration

Let music be your sanctuary.

The journey to Donald Trump's inauguration has been more bizarre than the plot of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Celebrities have publicly criticized our new POTUS, some in the dirtiest of ways. Musicians were hiding in the deepest, darkest corners of their homes to avoid being invited to perform at the inauguration, besides for "non-traditional" American Kanye West. It's a wild time we live in.

Thinking back to eight years ago to President Barack Obama's Inauguration, I can vividly remember the sheer spectacle of it all. From the record breaking attendance of supporters filling up the National Mall for the first time ever during an inauguration, to witnessing the first Black man take the oath of office to become the President of the United States. Hollywood's biggest names certainly made themselves available for this event, superstars like Beyoncé, Usher, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, and U2 to name a few. Sadly, today's (January 20) performance lineup isn't as eye-catching.

For the lack of star power in the events performances, we've compiled a playlist of songs that will resonate with everyone. Regardless if you voted Trump, or want to suplex him off the top turn buckle, there's music for all to enjoy during the inauguration. Rae Sremmurd's "Up Like Trump" and Kanye West's "Runaway" for Trump's super rich cabinet friends. Beyoncé's "Irreplaceable," Dixie Chicks "Not Ready To Make Nice," and Mary J. Blige's "Not Gon Cry" for those who haven't moved on from Obama. Big Sean's "IDFWU" and Ugly Kid Joe's "I Hate Everything About You" for the anti-Trump supporters and lots more. Take a listen to the full playlist below.

Enjoy!
