1 ChynaGetty Images
Chyna is one of the most influential women in the WWE. She broke down gender norms as the first woman to compete in the Royal Rumble match and is the only woman to have held the WWE Intercontinental Championship belt. Then she became a porn star, and things took a dark turn after that. She’s had several incidents of alcohol and drug abuse. From world champion, to porn star, to Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, where did it all go wrong? -
2 Stuart ScottGetty Images
A documentary on Stuart Scott’s impact on pop culture is a must. He wasn’t the first Black sportscaster, but he was the first to merge hip hop and sports like no one has ever done before. He used several catch phrases with rap slang like “Boo-Yah!” “Hallah” and “Doing It, Doing It, Doing It Well” during shows. His revolutionary way of commentating opened the doors for popular newscasters of today like Stephen A. Smith, Michael Smith and Jemele Hill. This is 30 For 30 gold. -
3 Bill PaxtonGetty Images
We’d love to see a documentary on blockbuster legend Bill Paxton, but focused on his life outside of his classic films. There are so many things about Paxton you probably didn’t know. According to People, the actor witnessed JFK’s final speech in person, he was a caddie for golf legend Ben Hogan, and was in a band that Jame Cameron directed a music video for. How did he meet all the famous people at such random moments in time? Is he the real life Forrest Gump? -
4 PrinceGetty Images
The music legend was particularly a private person. In 2016 he was rumored to be writing a memoir called “The Beautiful Ones” before his passing. It would be interesting to see that memoir come to fruition so we can learn more about the man who gave us timeless music. -
5 Brittany MurphyGetty Images
Brittany Murphy’s “accidental death” is still a mystery of sorts. According to E! News, the L.A. County Coroner’s reported that she suffered from pneumonia, anemia and a trace mix of prescription drugs, but many theories believe that there was a third party involved in the matter. She passed away unexpectedly in 2009. It’s time to finally get to the bottom of this. -
6 Michael Clarke DuncanGetty Images
We’d like to see a documentary on Michael Clarke Duncan’s relationship with reality star Omarosa Manigault. According to TMZ, the actors family wanted Manigault investigated for allegedly influencing Duncan into re-writing his will months before he died and leaving almost everything to her. It’s very suspicious, and we want answers. -
7 Kimbo SliceGetty Images
From street brawler, to online celebrity to professional UFC fighter, Kimbo Slice has had one very interesting rags to riches story that would make for a very motivational documentary. -
8 Alan RickmanGetty Images
We all know Alan Rickman for his portrayal of Hans Gruber in Die Hard and Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films, but did you know he married his teenage sweetheart, Rima Horton? That’s right. The actor had been with his wife for 50 years! We’d love to dive deeper into their fantastic love story. -
9 VanityGetty Images
The ’80s pop star and Prince protege life took a 180 when she turned away from her successful music and acting career to concentrate on evangelism. Seeing how her lifestyle changed from being a global star would be interesting. -
10 Philip Seymour HoffmanGetty Images
Philip Seymour Hoffman can do no wrong on the big screen, but off it, he had his share of issues, most notably his battle with drug addiction. The actor dealt with drug abuse most of his career, but that didn’t stop him from churning out memorable performances in films like The Master and Doubt. A documentary celebrating the many accomplishments of the widely renowned actor and a peek behind the scene of his troubled life should be instantly green lit. -
11 Charlie MurphyGetty Images
Charlie Murphy is known for his appearances on the Chappelle’s Show, but his life is just as exciting outside of the sketch comedy show. He’s the brother of one of the world’s most famous comedians Eddie Murphy, he joined the the military when was 18. He was a single parent after tragically losing his wife Tisha Taylor Murphy to cancer in 2009, and he actually played basketball against Prince. There’s a lot interesting moments and stories from Charlie Muprhy’s life that deserve to get the spotlight and we’d love to see it.
