Serena Williams aka the GOAT has blessed us with something even more valuable than a win at the US Open. That’s right, folks: Serena posted a photo of her baby girl today. Prepare yourself for all of the feels.
Serena captioned the adorable snap, “Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. You have to check out link in bio for her amazing journey. Also check out my IG stories 😍😍❤️❤️.”
The fact that Serena and Alexis Sr. decided to name their daughter after her dad, which is usually a tradition reserved for boys, literally has me tearing up at my desk. It doesn’t hurt that Alexis Jr. is already freakin’ cute as hell. According to the adorable cartoon posted by dad, it looks like they’ll be calling her by her middle name, Olympia. Just try to tell me that this isn’t worthy of a the princess of Reddit.
“Welcome, Olympia, we’re so happy to meet you. We made you a video of our adventure together so far (see bio).”
And because a photo wasn’t enough for the “world’s youngest number one,” the new mom and dad decided to share their daughter’s journey into the world with us. Do yourself a favor and grab a tissue, because it’ll have you crying all sorts of happy tears.
The ultrasound! The bump photos! The video of Serena captioned “No one knows I’m 8 weeks pregnant!” Serena and Alexis being the most adorable parents ever! Those little feet! I think I need to take a break. Please, don’t disturb me unless there are more photos of precious Olympia to share.
We are glad to see that mom and baby are doing well after some complications during labor. We have a feeling there will be more sweet snaps of the happy family to come.
Talk about a throwback. In 2002, Serena Williams was on fire when she won the U.S. Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the Australian Open. This powerful and talented woman has definitely become one of the greatest tennis players to play the game.
