“Who? Her? Man, that’s nothing. She’s just my homegirl.” (insert eyeroll emoji here) Ladies, you know you heard it before but now it seems like Booby is trying to kick game to Bridget Kelly by telling her that Brooke Valentine is in the friend zone.
In this Love & Hip Hop Hollywood bonus clip, Bridget is surprised to hear from Booby after their last encounter. The singer wastes no time explaining to Booby how sus Brooke was moving at his showcase. That Booby brow-wipe was way too intimate for Bridget’s liking. You can’t just run around assuming things, which is why Booby puts Bridget onto what’s really going with Brooke. It’s a story we all heard before, they grew up together in H-town and have always been super close. She was even there for him in his darkest moments. That’s a bond that can’t be broken but he makes it clear that this bond is not a romantic one. As far as he’s concerned, Brooke is a close friend and he is a single man. No need for him to explain any further because Bridget recognizes that Booby meeting her is proof enough that nothing is going on Brooke.
Now that Booby has clarified his situation, Bridget feels compelled to speak on her relationship (or lack there of) with James. The Pretty Girl concept Ray was trying to push led to “Pussy so Good” being not too great, causing tension with James. If Booby was Bridget’s girl though, he’d support her 100% no matter how vulgar the record is. S–t, he’ll just go home afterwards to find out if the pums is so good on his own. Now that they have confided in one another, Booby is looking for more ways for he and Bridget to get better acquainted.
Don’t miss an all new Love & Hip Hop Hollywood next Monday at 8/7c!
