The Cast Of LHHNY Engages In Hurricane Relief Efforts

Love and Hip Hop: New York is visiting the island of St. Maarten! When veteran cast member Yandy decides to lend a helping hand, she enlists the help of her friends to donate and deliver items to hurricane victims and join her on the mission. In an effort to take their charitable efforts even further, Safaree recruits his fellow cast members to remix his song “Paradise,” with a renewed focus on island morale, bringing awareness to the island through the music.

The trip to St. Maarten spans over episodes 13 and 14, which will air on January 29 and February 5, respectively. The cast of Love and Hip Hop: New York, Eastern, Monami and VH1 would like to thank the island of St. Maarten for its hospitality. Proceeds from the “Paradise” remix will go to the Caribbean Chamber of Commerce and Industries, a charity to help benefit small business on St. Maarten and other Caribbean islands.
