This Touching Clip Of Kanye Rapping With His Late Mother Will Simultaneously Melt + Break Your Heart
It’s not hard to tell that Donda West was Kanye West’s biggest supporter. She was the one who helped jumpstart his production career by hooking a young Ye up with legendary producer, No I.D. She was the one who drove a U-Haul van from Chicago to New York when Kanye decided to pursue music full time.

But outside of being a dedicated support system, Donda was probably Kanye’s biggest fan. The proof is in this clip, currently making it’s rounds around the net. In the video that looks to be around the College Dropout era. Mama West recites one of her favorite Yeezy verses, before the man himself takes over the reigns.

Later in the clip the two share another heartfelt moment, as they gleefully rap along to “Hey Mama,” a track that later surfaced on Kanye’s sophomore album Late Registration in 2005.

You can watch these beautiful moments in time below— and witness the extraordinary bond Kanye shared with his beloved Mother.
