It appears Taylor Swift has admitted that "I Knew You Were Trouble" was indeed written about her relationship with One Direction member Harry Styles. She told The Sunday Times that the song's muse was in the wings during her Brit Awards performance and gossip columnists have surmised that Styles was the only one of her exes to be there.
